Anyone who's ever done anything creative needs to fucking see this.

My family dropped cable to save money and I find it difficult to describe the degree to which we all scrambled to find some way of watching Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve with Ryan Seacrest online at around 10:30 at night. We found a way, but the fear I felt before that was massive. I have watched the dcrnyewrs Every Single Year since I was born (though I was asleep for several of them). I don't know what will happen if I don't see it, but I have a theory:

IF I DO NOT SEE RYAN SEACREST'S UNSHAVEN, PERMASMILE, STRANGELY AWAKE FACE ALL OVER THE WALL FROM AT LEAST 11:45 PM ON DECEMBER 31 TO 12:05 AM JANUARY 1ST, THE YEAR WILL LOOP BACK ON ITSELF AND WE WILL GO THROUGH THE SAME ONE AGAIN.

So be glad we found it.

Imagine being Alfred during Batman Begins when Bruce leaves to “find himself.” Alfred is worried, but reminds himself that all rich men do this and he’s probably just going to come back as a worldly, obnoxious vegetarian. Then Bruce shows up several years later buff as hell and it’s like no, he’s a ninja. he’s a ninja and he wants to terrorize Gotham in a bat costume.

It's not if you're 'worthy' of heaven that the world is supposed to test. No one is worthy of heaven at all, except God, but He sacrificed His son to let us have His worthiness. Hard things are to help you become a better person, and closer to God- have you ever met someone who hasn't suffered? But we can get through the bad earthly things with God and appreciate the good ones all the more with Him. It's an entirely different concept.

I hate Bruce's "I don't kill because once I start, I wouldn't be able to stop"

Like I simply do not buy it. Murder is not a potato chip Bruce. I think he is full of shit and a messy bitch who lives for the drama. I am certain Bruce has some kind of valid reason for not killing, but I don't believe that this is it.
