Joker: I'm actually your alter ego which was created by your subconsciousness after the loss of your parents and gained a solid form as you became Batman
Batman: Well then please walk towards the light because I'm tired of your shit
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS
These are just my predictions of what the directors may have hidden in the movie
Mystery of Hulk
- Loki says 'the sun will shine on us again' > It reminded me of 'hey big guy the Sun's getting real low'.
- Loki: We have a Hulk
- Heimdall escapes Hulk to Doctor Strange's Sangtom before he dies instead of his King Thor..? Why Hulk of all people?
- Hulk doesn't appears until the very end of the AVENGERS movie. WHY?? I think there would be a reason for that. I don't think he didn't come out just because he was afraid of Thanos. Maybe he had fragments of memory of alternate future that Doctor Strange reversed that Bruce Banner doesn't remember
- Bruce: Hulk! This is the time you come out! You always liked to come out in the last moments! (Well maybe that wasn't the last moments to come out and Hulk knows it)
- I think Hulk will have a crucial role in Avengers 4
Tony Stark's dreams and memories
- Tony speaks about full minute about him and Pepper having a baby in his dreams. Maybe that was the other future in parallel universe that are left as the fragments of his dreams and memories
- Doctor S says 'Congratulations on your wedding' but Tony says 'You should come to my wedding' to Wong After that. So if Tony isn't married yet then did Doctor S saw the future in the parallel universe and was confused?
- Tony dreams nightmare about Thanos' army and sees the Avengers all dead defeated by Thanos as his greatest fear. What if those are the possible outcome or forgotten memory of the 14 million parallel universe that he fought when Doctor S rewinded the time
- Why would Doctor S give up the time stone for Tony without using its power? Does the one universe that could defeat Thanos has to involve Tony where Doctor himself has to give up his life?
Doctor Strange's Time stone
- The meaning of the Infinity war: Maybe it isn't the war to collect the Infinity stones, but it is the infinite amount of Dr. Strange's fight while he jumps in to the past and future to defeat Thanos until he is defeated
- 'This is the end game' After foreseeing all the 14 million universe, he finally reached the one universe that they can win which will be their last fight. And this must involve half of the population vanishing including himself, only leaving all the founding members of the Avengers
I think Margot Robbie’s Harley lacked a lot of villainous insanity. They focused too much on her human side which erased a lot of her evil part. HARLEY QUINN IS A VILLAIN. Although there are a lot of parts where we are able to sympathise her, I think it made her to be just pretty faced, slighlty crazy dork rather than insane villain (well everyone in the squad lacked those too). I’m hoping I’ll see that on the female villain spinoff because I LOVED THAT PART OF HER IN ASSAULT ON ARKHAM
We know that in the comics the Winter Soldier trained Natasha in the Red Room but what if it was cannon in the MCU too???
God I just watched Black Widow and have so much buckynat feels... Don't even ask why cuz he wasn't even in the movie hahahaha (He was mentioned briefly)
(Softly) Don't do it Disney
NO SPOILER REVIEW with my own opinions
- I felt like the movie is quite different than what Marvel has advertised with the trailer. 50% of the scenes in the trailer are not present in the movie
- Carol Danvers is goofy, stubborn, hot headed, and sassy character unlike other female heroes in the past films who are always cool- headed, calm, too wise to be involved with team's drama, etc
- Brie Larson has great chemistry with EVERYONE and is such a talented actress when it comes to delivering emotions in dramatic scenes. BUT I felt that her physical stunts aren't... quite the best...? Like, there are some action scenes that weren't very impressive due to how the actress moved. I also felt the same thing with Ezra Miller's Flash in JL movie when they did slow motion for his actions and I was just like ....?
- I was glad to see Nick Fury's more human qualities and as a sidekick, he was great! I'll be always happy to see Sam L. Jackson's Nick Fury in any marvel movie
- LOVED Jude Law's character. Honestly, I loved the chemistry& the relationship between Carol and his character
- Not really sure if Ronan was a necessary plot device in this film
- COULSON!!!! I mean, he had little role, but we missed you, agent
- Goose the cat is the best scene stealer like everyone has expected
- The friendship between Carol and Maria was tear jerking. They shared strong emotional scenes
- During the third act of the movie, you know in a hero movie where the main protagonist discovers their powers and overcome their limt? Honestly IT WAS SO CRINGEY. I thought I was watching some sort of documentary campaign
- Nice plot twist
- The 1st end credit scene leads directly to the Avengers: Endgame. 2nd is more of a comical one
- I think if you enjoyed Guardians of the galaxy 1,2, you'll enjoy CM. They're very different but has a similar vibe somewhere
- Captain Marvel breaks Hollywood's cliche at the very end of the third act. However like Wonder Woman, the entire plot line was quite predictable
It was 8/10 for me. Excited to see Brie Larson's Captain Marvel in the endgame and her sequel
Tribute to Stan Lee
Well this is a new way of committing suicide
It’s an honest and subjective review, there may be minor minor spoilers, but almost harmless so be aware It was good! I mean we’ve finally got a suicide squad film! Here are my thoughts: Characters - HARLEY FUCKING QUINN KILLED IT!! I mean, she’s like the best thing that happened in Suicide Squad! - Joker, oh my J, Jared Leto’s smile, laugh and everything was perfect. BUT I feel like DC portrayed him as a romantist TOO MUCH. Like, it looked like he couldn’t live without her, which in comics, Joker CAN and EXIST without harley, whereas he needs Batman in his life. I think too much of J♡H romance killed little bit of Joker’s ruthlessness. He’s still mad af tho - Deadshot’s characterisation was great, especially with his daughter and some of the moments. He was one of the most realistic person in the squad along with some others. But I think he had too much drama and lacked action later in the film - Rick Flag was cute, loved seeing him interact and later connect with every members of the squad. He’s like the damsel in distress. And FLAGSHOT EVERYBODY. SHIP IT - Captain Boomerang was adorable. Like, he was the comic relief of the film. However, I hoped more of the boomerang- throwing actions. - Enchantress was very mysterious but her wiggly dance was quite funny. I though she was part of the squad, but well, she was actually the villain - EL DIABLO WAS THE FUCKING SCENE STEALER EVERYBODY!! He’s like the character with most character development, and possibly the strongest and coolest member in the squad! Such a cute cinnamon roll - Killer Croc had very few scenes, and was not that impactful honestly. I hope he appears in the next Batman film with bigger body - Katana sort of.. I don’t know, killed the mood…? She was very dramatic - Slipknot.. Well before the movie released, people joked a lot about him and it actually became true.. you know Overall movie - I feel like a lot of the characters lacked characterisation. I think DC should have introduced these villains in other hero movies before the Squad so the audiences are actually familiar of them. Introducing and telling the background story took like the half of the film. It just feels like DC is rushing too much that they are releasing big major events without cinematic development - The first- middles part of the movie was exhilarating but the last part was quite messy and dragged on (except for diablo) - Almost half of the scenes in the trailer didn’t show up in the movie. I’m quite pissed about this. A lot of them lacked some real actions the final part of the movie - I loved the humor and watching the movie in the villain’s perspective! - Ok, it has some flaws, but rotten tomatoes, seriously? - As a dc fan, it’s 7.5/10, as a movie fan, 6.5/10
