These are just the last three fics I wrote. I appreciate the likes, believe me I do, but you have to understand. Likes do nothing for content creators. It’s the reblogs. Because that’s how you find shit on your dashboard. Through reblogs. Not likes. This isn’t twitter or tiktok or instagram. This is a website that’s run by the reblog system.

Reblogging helps content creators put their stuff out there. Why do you think so many people stopped writing fanfic and creating beautiful fanart and edits? It’s because they put in hours of work and don’t get nearly enough notes for their masterpieces. Yes we do this because we enjoy it but like…some validation won’t hurt. A boost of confidence here and there might be all someone needs to finish whatever thing they started and left.

Anyway, I’m still going to reblog my shit…

a very small reminder that likes basically mean nothing to content creators. they're nice yes, but they only boost us up tags. reblogs gives us reach to your followers and boosts us up tags because it counts as a note.

you don't need to give us an entire essay about how our work changed your life. A simple reblog with no tags means more than just a like. it takes 2 seconds. It doesn't matter if you have 3 followers, reblogs still matter.

comments are also preferred over likes because we actually know what the readers feel, and motivates us to write more content for you to read. Even the smallest comments mean so much to us.

if you're complaining about your favorite writer not posting as much anymore, hype up their writing and published work, trust me it'll motivate them.

before the situation worsens, god forbid, there are a few things i'd like to say. primarily because some of you have asked, and some of you have stayed silent, and i have lived long enough to know that silence too is a sound.

if anyone here comes at me for discussing politics on a fanfiction fucking blog, please know that the state of the world is not mere politics. please remember that war does not wait for convenient timelines. it does not pause for fanfic updates or midday reblogs. it crashes through borders and bedrooms alike, and presses itself into the mouths of the hungry and the backs of the displaced. i have a following of nearly 1k people and would like to use my platform because i have a voice and am determined to use it. this is not about religion. this is about being human and watching humanity be peeled off the bone in real time.
