Hi what's up I'm gonna talk about something irrelevant that pissed me off

So I'm really into those like whimsy aesthetics right? Like whimsy twee, whimsy goth, I eat it up.

And I keep getting videos/posts on my fyps that are like "ways to make your life more whimsical 🤞" or like "how to act more quirky ☺️"

And HALF THE TIME all the things they list are either like horribly inconvenient or would genuinely give me a panic attack

Like I see shit like "when you stutter, pretend to wind yourself back up with a key!!" And it's like okay, I'm already dangerously close to falling into the manic pixie dream girl stereotype, THIS WOULD NOT HELP MY CAUSE.

And also not to sound like I'm calling everyone who's using these like posers or smth but I feel like if you're forcing yourself to do these things (cause let's face it half of these are ridiculously fake to do naturally) it's no different than if your where doing stuff to fit in. Like it's just a chore you do to appear 'silly' and that sucks balls.

Also as someone who, as a child, had alot of anxiety induced 'rituals' I forced myself to do (I.e "if I don't check all these doors Twenty times before bed I'll die a horrible death") tons of these quirky habits these people are proposing would absolutely make me fall back into alot of those habits (like "oh if I don't say hi to this mailbox it'll feel left put and I'll bad luck forever)

So yeah I think ppl should start being more realistic with their whimsyness okay bye 💞
