What You Need:
black candle
a smooth stone, from a source of fresh water preferred
3 blackberries/5 elderberries/2 mulberries
½ teaspoon of olive oil
pepper
a pinch of sage
a few bay leaves
three petals plucked from a geranium
mortar and pestle (or something else to grind your herbs)
a glass jar with a lid
paintbrush (using your finger can also work!)
Method:
▽ Grind up your herbs and petals with your mortar and pestle, and once thoroughly blended, scrape them into your jar.
▽ Next, grab your berries and either use your mortar and pestle to grind them up, or use your hands to turn them to mush before throwing them into your jar.
▽ Carefully measure the olive oil with a ½ teaspoon and pour it into your jar, and throw in the amount of (ground) pepper you see fit. Remember that pepper is a powerful substance used in protection spells.
▽ Once all your components are in your jar, blend them all together using a fork, making sure to mix it up until it resembles a paste. If it still looks chunky, try adding a little bit more olive oil.
▽ Lighting your black candle, say an incantation or pray to your deity as you dip your paintbrush (or finger) into your protection paste, and paint a protection sigil/marking onto your stone. Some sigils I recommend can be found here, here, here, and here. An example incantation could go like this:
Blessed Divines, so loving and kind, Watch over me, and all that is mine; Please erase my fears, I will cry no tears; Let no such harm or hurt come to me, This here is my will, so Mote It Be. ▽ When you finish painting your new protection stone, blow out the black candle and seal your glass jar with the lid. Whenever you feel the need to take extra precautions, just repaint your stone to give it a stronger intent! And there you have it! If you make your intention a lot more specific, (eg: I will feel safe when walking home, or I will be safe from nightmares), keep it in your pocket, or have it under your pillow.
Where to start? This is the most common question i receive. I understand how overwhelming the craft can be! There are so many different components, and you can rest knowing your education will NEVER be complete. You will continue to learn new things all the time, and there is no rush to the order in which you learn! Cool down, and take some time to really fall into theory before jumping into practice. Its very important to read as much as you can, from as many sources as possible. Here are some of the many things you can research:
Crystals & their uses
Color correspondences
Different kinds of Magic
Different kinds of witches
Tools
Moon Phases
Planets/Celestial Bodies
Witch History
Herbs & their uses
Plants that are naturally abundant in your area that you can use in magick

making mundane things magical
There are so many more things, so feel free to add in anything I missed or that you personally find important.
Witchlings, please ask me any questions you may have as i am happy to answer to the best of my knowledge. I will be putting up more educational posts over the next few weeks, so please ask or message me if theres anything specific you’d like me to cover. I’ll more than likely have a post for each of the bullet points above.
Blessed be!
spell jar to strengthen your relationship ✨💘
hello! i did this spell jar a few months ago, when my online bf and i were having a hard time, and recently we just met! so i think this thing is pretty helpful to have around.
a small jar
rose petals
rosemary
small pieces of rose quartz
basil
cinnamon
a pink or red candle
light the candles, put everything into the jar, and you can add any other small items that represent your relationship. i put a very tiny seashell in mine and some lavender, because my lovers favorite color is purple. you can seal with wax if youd like, the wax from the candles will work best. when youre done, blow out the candles, and kiss the jar whenever u need it.
blessed be )O(

hello, my loves! the purpose of this spell is to send your most positive energy and vibrations to the ones that you love whom you feel need it most (this can include yourself). here are the steps:
Supplies:
• a dish/cauldron/anything to mix spices in + a spoon
• nutmeg (or cinnamon), rosemary, lavender (you may also use lavender oil instead), salt, and several rose hips (or petals)
• a small quartz crystal
• paper/scissors/ + a pen
• a small bottle, jar, bag, or holder that you can close or seal
• optional: a pink, white, or red candle; lipstick
Note: Before creating my charm bottle, I put on some relaxing, atmospheric background music. For suggestions, feel free to ask me! And if you have a candle, light it beforehand.
Steps:
1). Begin by mixing your spices together in your dish! Add them in any order you please, a small spoonful of each: rosemary for love, lavender for peace, nutmeg (or cinnamon) for good luck and strong visualization, and salt for additional strength and protection. As you add each spoonful, begin to focus on what each spice represents, and how it will help the people you wish to send positivity to.
2). Now is the time to begin writing out your intentions for each individual you are hoping to help. On a piece of paper, in small lettering, write a brief note for each person. Ex: “Safe travels for ___,” “Positive mentality and moving forward for ___,” “A healthy recovery for ___.” You can write messages for as many people as you wish. When you are done, cut out each small piece of paper and fold them small enough to fit in your bottle/jar/holder. If you wish, anoint them with a little something - I sealed all of my notes with a kiss, marked in red lipstick!
3). This is where the rose hips/rose petals come into play. Add a hip or petal to your spice mixture to represent each person that you wrote a note for.
4). Mix your spices together. Close your eyes. Picture your good intentions flowing gently down your arm, your hand, flowing into the spoon, and then off of the spoon, filling your mixture with love and protection.
5). Add your spice mixture to your holder, minus the hips/petals.
6). After adding the spices, drop your notes and hips/petals in, one at a time. Go in the order (note, hip/petal; note, hip/petal; note, hip/petal…) The goal is to visualize that specific person as happy, glowing, and healthy as you drop their notes and rose hips/petals in, one at a time. Really take the time to build up a radiant energy while you close your eyes and envision them as cheerful. While in this positive, visual state, add your quartz crystal to the holder.
7). That’s it! Seal your holder, and place it in an altar, on the windowsill, or next to your bed. Shake it every so often to charge its contents with your ethereal, healing energy! 🥀💖✨💌💋
Trying to learn more about the occult is so intimidating. I am trying to gather as much knowledge as I can, but there is so much reading material. Like for most other western religions it's "𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬. 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴." But for the occult it's "𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘺. 𝘔𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘵. 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘵 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳. 𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘰𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘺 𝘣𝘪𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘶𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘴. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘭𝘥. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳."

whole allspice
dried tangerine or orange peels
sprig of pine
Love Drawing:
crushed rose petals
dried jasmine

In honor of the full moon tonight- here are some witchy things to do!
Put out water, juice, or liquor to be charged (in sealed containers ideally). Moon charged juice and liquor is excellent for holiday cocktails!
Divination: Tarot, runes, scrying, shufflemancy, whatever you feel! It’s especially a good time to test out a new divination style you’ve been thinking about.
Bake full moon cookies! You can either focus on mixing and baking during the full moon (mix your dough near a window or outside) or bake before the sun goes down and leave the cookies to cool and charge near a window!
Collect autumn leaves and seedlings under the full moon. Use for Samhain wishes.
Set crystals or tools out to charge on a windowsill or porch.
Bring your spirit working tools outside (skulls, bones, memento moris, powders/oils, pendulums, spirit boards, cards, etc.) and work on your spirit communication during the height of the full moon.
Tend to your garden area during the full moon (depending on the season; weeding, planting, harvesting, fertilizing, etc.)
Craft a new tool like a wand, broom, witch’s ladder, scrying mirror, etc.
Reinforce/renew your wards and property protections.
Channel full moon energy for writing, drawing, sculpting, sewing, knitting, composing, etc.
Make a cup of tea or hot chocolate and step outside or near a window with it while it cools. Offer it to the moon for charging with prosperity and health. Drink it slowly.
Enjoy the moon. Treasure the moon. Thank the moon. Love the moon. The moon knows you are a fantastic witch regardless of what others (even youself) think. The moon loves you.
