What is it with the Izuku and ‘All Might underwear’ trope?

Like, yes, this kid is a fanboy to rival fanboys, but, what if under some miracle, he actually saw the weirdness in having someone’s face on his underwear?

Like:

Person (trying to make fun of Midoriya): Ha, you probably have All Might underwear, you fanboy

Midoriya: What? No? That’s just weird. Yeah, I’m a fanboy, but that’s crossing a line that even I don’t want to cross.

Atsushi startled. He turned around to see Dazai hopping down the last few steps of a staircase and landing with only a little stumble, managing to make it look elegant. From somewhere down the corridor Atsushi thought he heard a girl sigh.

“Dazai-san,” Atsushi said, and before he realised it he had a hand under Dazai’s elbow to steady him. Dazai grinned at him, and Atsushi hurriedly pulled his hand back. “Ah – did you need something?”

“Hmm…yeah,” Dazai said. He started walking down the corridor, Atsushi in step beside him. “I needed a dose of Atsushi-kun.”
