I was talking to a kid in my daughter’s class today, and she said that she thought it would be fun to write a story about the Titanic, but with supernatural creatures.

So I said, “Yeah, that would great! What would the creatures do? Would they save the Titanic from sinking?”

And she gave me the most disgusted look. I have never seen a 9 year old face look so appalled.

“No,” she said, speaking very clearly so as to never be so grossly misunderstood again, “they’re going to eat the passengers.”

God I hope she lets me read it.

TIMELESS: An alternate universe where all extraordinary creatures exist, such as demons, angels, goblins, and gods. They protect Atsushi for he is now the holder of death’s weapon and and must return it to the rightful owner, Dazai Osamu, himself. (I want to clarify that Dazai lost his scythe on Earth when he was doing “business “ aka taking people’s souls. Dazai is a silly klutz so he dropped it on accident and then it fell into the hands of Atsushi. Also, no other extraordinary creature can hold the scythe for it makes them delusional with power. Say, if a human like Atsushi were to hold it, it would seem like a useless watch. Humans aren’t able to recognize its true form and value).
