And not only will this obviously impact stuff like actual porn/lewd content, but it will also apply to general art & expression. Movies, books, video games, websites, etc. can all be impacted. Sex scene or innuendo? Political message/idea they find to be anti-establishment? Characters whose genders or sexualities are declared 'deviant' by conservatism? Anti-obscenities laws are just purposefully misnamed openings for the government to steal your freedoms and oppress you & your neighbors.

"Obscenity" is just another way of saying "deviancy" - and the sort of men that want to make laws about it consider anything that discomfits or defies them to be a form of deviancy.

Porn bans aren't about porn. They're about control and repression.
