It takes strength to be kind
maybe just maybe people say certain things not because they mean them but because it’s necessary.
I do realize that and I am one of those people who never stick to a certain belief, a rigid opinion or strong povs. I have always been up for change, ready for modifications. But when will people see me? Like really see me? My authenticity is something that makes me different from the crowd and they keep asking me to behave a certain way, act in a certain manner. Am I really just born to stand up to their expectations? Be a sheep in the Herd? I have gone through enough transitions to be who I am today and honestly I know I will always change for the better but I really won't lose my core values in the process to become more acceptable by the so-called society.
"How can someone be as kind as you are in a world full of atrocities" you know what you are right the real world won't let us be kind and forgiving. The real world demands us to turn into selfish individuals and if we don't then you will laugh at it. Just because you lack empathy doesn't mean your way of acting indifferent is right fucking way. You use people all the time and belittle those who don't? What kind of an unethical world is this? oh my god
Here to remind you again that they will start hating you the moment you choose yourself and prioritize your well being but that's exactly how you outgrow people and it's supposed to feel uncomfortable.
Espresso-stained pages, whispered thoughts between hardcover spines, and mornings that begin with poetry and croissants. A soft life of books, cafés, and intentional stillness.
In all seriousness, everyone please be safe and take care of your loved ones. Do not give yourself more anxiety by watching fake videos or missile attacks and keep all the essentials with you. I hope no innocent gets harmed in these, may bhagwan be with all of us.
Oh he called you pretty but did he call you "Preity Zinta pretty in Veer Zaara"
If blush blindness is a sin then I am guilty
Kafka X Faraz
When Franz Kafka said;
“It would be better if you didn’t come, since you’d only have to leave again.”
But our very own Ahmed Faraz wrote;
“ranjish hi sahi dil hi dukhane ke liye aa, aa phir se mujhe chhorh ke jaane ke liye aa.”
