Throwback to when I just finished watching the X-Files—for the first time—a few years ago and then immediately started up the first episode again...

i feel like if melissa scully was alive in 2025 she would be horrified by those videos of people airfrying crabs while they're still alive. that is not to say anybody would be pro-airfrying live crabs (except bill scully jr fuck him), but i feel like melissa would be particularly affected by these behaviours.

this was such a first big moment for them <3 and then they proceeded to be confined with each other in a small cubicle on several occasions and once shirtless during the rest of the episode <3

strangely a large part of Scully fandom spends their time saying how badly Mulder treats her, how he doesn't deserve her, how annoying they find him, and how she suffers so much throughout the show (true) while downplaying his trauma..but still ship msr, idk if I dislike a character that much I wouldn't ship him with my favorite
