Video games have this fascinating middle ground between "not as good as you remember" and "exactly as good as you remember" that lives roughly in the vicinity of "its ideas are as good as you remember, but their actual game-mechanical implementation sucks ass".
this was such a first big moment for them <3 and then they proceeded to be confined with each other in a small cubicle on several occasions and once shirtless during the rest of the episode <3

Time for my monthly need to play minecraft build a house, a farm, some bridges, and go down the rabbit hole of mods to make everything cute.
I see this a lot about asian webnovels, the tags and tws clearly state that the whole plot is about a toxic relationship, if you dont like that just move on and let people who can separate reality from fiction enjoy it
"I just hate their relationship!" I'm not holding your hand when I say this, the entire series is about their relationship. It is very clearly the main focus. And I question your ability to comprehend and analyze complex media. Please go back to shows like bubble guppies, you've shown you're an illiterate fool who wants to scrub all of the media you engage with of their complexities because you can't handle the idea of "impure" dynamics.
The X-Files, “The Red and the Black” behind the scenes featuring:
Gillian Anderson taking a phone break
Tom Braidwood in his job as assistant director, not in his role as Frohike
Jaap Broeker in his job as David Duchovny’s stand-in, not in his role as the Stupendous Yappi

My recent Mulder Walk-In headcanon - copypasta'd below - got a good response, so here's a tribute to the 90s X-Files comics showing a Walk-In replace Mulder to save him from his brain condition.
Details: season 8 of The X-Files reveals Mulder hid terminal illness from Scully (dumb). And somehow Scully the doctor missed it (dumber). And in season 9 he abandoned Scully and his baby child to hide like a coward (dumbest).
So what if Mulder was switched out by a Walk-In after the Samantha reunion in Season 7's Closure? This possession was to save Mulder from an even worse fate, but left him doing out of character things. When he returned from death (minus an autopsy, somehow - dumb!), he was still in place between both the physical and spiritual worlds, hence his running away after William's birth.
The Mulder we saw in the latter half of season 7 wasn't quite our Mulder. It could hide Mulder's physical status as a mirage. And this Walk-In Mulder even left a will asking not to be autopsied. Perhaps claiming to do so out of Jewish tradition or to keep his hybrid DNA out of official documents.
But really it was to ensure Scully didn't butcher his chances of resurrection. The Walk-In spirits knew the fate of the alien abductees, and had to 'replace' Mulder to ultimately keep him alive. Ultimately, after season 9, both versions of Mulder converged into one.
This would also explain David Duchovny's bored acting in season 7.
I like creppy stuff and reading. She/Her. 20. Currently obsessed with The X-Files.
