I just need Leclerc to keep his shit together for 44 more laps.
It's hard being female/queer/poc in sport fandoms when the sport itself is not inclusive. When the drivers themselves are not representative of these groups, I do not expect their views and values to be representative of these groups.
That being said. I can still hold them accountable for their actions/inactions.
I like rooting for certain drivers on track but that does not mean I agree with their political or social affiliations. I cannot stop them from being racist/misogynistic/queerphobic in their personal lives and I can, in some degree, seperate their performance as an athlete from their views. What I cannot do is sit by and watch them perpetuate discrimination in the sport itself. Whether it be on track or during media duties.
And yeah, drivers have no obligation to act or be a certain way but then we as fans also have the right to not support or like them.
Was gonna type a paragraph about how i hope the ferraris battle and maybe cause a yellow (or red) flag, but ferrari orders just had to ruin my fun.
Very george response to the penalty and darth toto coming in to assure george, daddy isn't mad.
I think Yuki can break the curse of the redbull seat since he falls in the commonality of redbull drivers that have won. Successful redbull drivers need atleast 1 of 3 things:
1. Have a single digit racing number. (Seb, Danny, Max)
2. Have a two digit number that is a double/repetition. (Max, Checo)
3. Be Australian. (Webber, Danny)
Yuki is no. 22
Finally watched the live action One Piece, all I have to say is ...
Love my 2 pirate blorbos, Elizabeth Swan and Monkey D. Luffy.
Sky sports has the weirdest lando propaganda videos before the race. Something about WDC's being pirates, max being the biggest pirate of them all. And norris possibly joining the pirates? I'm so confused.
Sky sports discussing franco basically running away from martin brundle on his grid walk
