while creating this blog I enjoyed having the creative control to design  and post in different formats to share my findings on water quality. I could see myself using a blog for my students in the future. I probably would have them use the blog for homework assignments and as a extra resource for studying.  Also working with the SOL 2.4 b I would have my students create a mini blogs as presentations sharing there knowledge of the plant life cycle.

This type of activity would be useful in my future classroom because this engages the students to do hands on activities and/or outside activities. In addition, this type of activity has a part in explaining how rivers function, and can be included when talking about rivers and other water bodies. Also, the activity would allow the students to interact and communicate between other students. This assignment creates a fun way to learn about what they can do to preserve the wildlife around them. Similarly, this activity allows the students to think about ways to create their own restoration projects in the future.

It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all - in which case, you fail by default.
