Okie book lovers, what are your favorite books?

oooh, books? okay, favourite series hands down has to be Wings of Fire. that shit slaps! my favourite book overall.. for some reason i really love these two morbid books i read a while back, one of them being the Bunker Diary by Kevin Brooks, and another being Good Morning, Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton. my favourite Wings of Fire book has to be Moon's, just because if her unique perspective, but Darkstalker's is a CLOSE second. i also really liked the Amulet series but i never read all of it. - Peasant Artist Willow

My favourite book series is definitely Wings of Fire, it's what got me into loving books. Um.. it's hard for me to pick a favourite book.. I've read a lot of stand-alone books, but I don't remember them! If I were to try to pick out a favourite book in the Wings of Fire series, it would have to be.. uhhh... Hey while we’re on the topic there are glitches on this website old enough to graduate middle school and the search function hasn’t worked in over a decade and tags are still broken on mobile and completely innocuous tags are still blacklisted and wiped clean for being “potentially NSFW” and the search function is disabled from dashboard view-only blogs and jumping to individual blogs via reblogs has been made actively difficult on purpose and you won’t ban r.adfems and you won’t ban nazis or antivaxxers and you won’t do jack about harassment but you’ll ban black and queer and especially transfem bloggers for breathing funny and you’ll whip out unforeseen moderation tools to unperson someone’s blog for pointing out potential transphobic sympathies among this site’s admins and you’ll have the gall to call yourself The Queerest Site On The Net to advertise in spite of all this and you’ll advertise incessantly and obnoxiously to the point of being overly personable and borderline guilt-trippy without putting any funds or effort or anything into fixing any of the above

I love you, transgender people. I love you, transfemmes and transmascs and transneutrals and trans-something elses. I love you, nonbinary people. I love you, genderfluid people. I love you, genderqueer people. I love you, two-spirit people. I love you, intersex people. I love you, people who can’t or don’t want to medically transition. I love you, people who are cis and unapologetically fuck with gender.

I love you, people who are out. I love you, people who are in the closet. I love you, people who are both in different circumstances. I love you, people who are only out about parts of their identity. I love you, people who feel the need to simplify their identity down to something people understand better.

I love you, people who are still figuring it out. I love you, people who are actively putting off figuring it out because you are not in a safe environment to explore that. I love you, people who have changed labels multiple times. I love you, people who have experimented with your gender or sexuality and found it wasn’t for you, but you have a better understanding of yourself from it.

I love you, cishet allies who are actively fighting for our rights, whether it’s on behalf of people you love or because it’s the right thing to do. I love you, supportive cishet parents, partners, and friends.
