“A star can never die. It just turns into a smile and melts back into the cosmic music, the dance of life.”-Michael Jackson | August 29, 1958-∞
Today, June 25th, marks nine years since our King was taken away. Although you’re gone, you will never be forgotten. May your love, your legacy, and your music live on forever. We love you, Applehead.
please, keep writing. keep drawing. keep painting. please keep making your art no matter how many may try to push you down. the world does not have nearly enough artists.

A mental disorder (also called a mental illness, or psychiatric disorder) is a diagnosis, most often by a psychiatrist, of a behavioral or mental pattern that may cause suffering or a poor ability to function in life.
Identifying as otherkin is not, by itself, mental illness.
Identifying as otherkin is not, by itself, unhealthy.
Identifying as otherkin is not, by itself, a delusion.
HOWEVER
A person who identifies as otherkin may also have an unrelated mental illness.
A person who identifies as otherkin and has a poor ability to function as a result, may be mentally ill.
Identifying as otherkin is not an excuse for bad or anti-social behavior.
FURTHER
It is not okay to bully and harass people who are mentally ill.
It is not the job of random Tumblr users to determine if someone is mentally ill or not.
The stigma that “mentally ill” people are “bad” or “crazy” is harmful and needs to end.
sorry if this has been answered in the past, I looked around for a bit but wasn't able to find an answer. Idk exactly how to word this...how does one exactly spend time with a fictional character/have a relationship? I hope that doesn't sound rude, I'm questioning fictoromantic and wondering how I would actually have a relationship with a character.
hey! moon here. it’s fine, we haven’t been asked before, and repeat questions aren’t the end of the world anyway. don’t worry about your tone, either! there’s no rudeness in just wanting to understand.
as for the actual content of your question, it’s a bit different for everyone. i consider myself committed to my f/o in the same way one would be committed to a real person. in my own relationship, there are a few things i do that address your curiosity and that qualify it in my mind as a relationship in the truly binding sense, aside from just a general feeling of affection and devotion. it’s a bit long and your mileage will almost certainly vary with this, since this sort of thing varies from relationship to relationship and i can only really describe my own feelings and practices. it’s all discussed under the cut.

i’ve been thinking this over a little, and it’s something i’ve seen people say now and again - “i’m not my f/o’s type, so they’d never spare me a glance.” i’m here to shatter that thought with a sledgehammer by introducing a much more nuanced way to look at relationships.
this post has been made before, in short, by someone else on this site - the basic concept that dynamics are more important than one’s “type” isn’t something i came up with entirely independently, nor is the phrasing of type versus dynamic. however, i don’t remember where to find the original post! if i come across it, i will be sure to link it here.
more information is, as always, under the cut!

“Some people seek meaning in life through personal gain, through personal relationship, or through personal experiences. However, it seems to me that being blessed with the intellect to divine the ultimate secrets of nature gives meaning enough to life.” ~ Michio Kaku
honestly...it’s ok to just use your skills on yourself! sewing clothes only you to wear, making art to hang up in your own personal area, singing and recording songs for you only to listen to...like not everything has to be for other people’s consumption!
