To a homophobe, even the most chaste kiss on the cheek between gay people is exactly as disgusting and degenerate as a hardcore BDSM orgy hosted in the town square, so you may as well ally with the BDSM orgy enthusiasts to throw bricks at the cops who are going to try and arrest all of you together anyway.
Good news, fellow artists! Nightshade has finally been released by the UChicago team! If you aren't aware of what Nightshade is, it's a tool that helps poison AI datasets so that the model "sees" something different from what an image actually depicts. It's the same team that released Glaze, which helps protect art against style mimicry (aka those finetuned models that try to rip off a specific artist). As they show in their paper, even a hundred poisoned concepts make a huge difference.
(Reminder that glazing your art is more important than nighshading it, as they mention in their tweets above, so when you're uploading your art, try to glaze it at the very least.)
The State department has changed LGBTQ to LGB.
If you claim to care about trans people now is a good time to show genuine ally ship.
Pretty!!

I actually don't know much about you do I just did my best!
The other day, me and a few others were talking to a teenage cousin of ours who had just entered the work force full-time. Incidentally, he had also just come back from his week of vacation. He was incredibly upset and near tears, saying that it is terrible how he has to spend every day working and his only "life" gets to happen in his designated 1-2 weeks off per year, and, in his words, "then you die."
A lot of the people listening in started laughing at him and saying that he needs to "grow up and get used to it." How brainwashed do you have to be to say these things, especially to a kid in distress? And especially when the kid is right? He is absolutely, 100% right.
We have so much evidence that this set up is not healthy physically or psychologically. We could absolutely find better ways to ensure things get done without making people feel like overused machines. Everything we do as humans should be about making our lives happier and easier so that we can enjoy this precious little time we have. Everything we do now is instead about making the select few happier while everyone else suffers.
Don't "grow up and get used to it." Keep that youthful feeling of injustice when you realize how unfair it all is. This is not natural. People made society this way and we can unmake it.
I feel like we really lost something when we started looking at writing as a reader-centric product meant to appeal to the desires of a specific audience rather than a writer-centric approach of someone writes whatever particular thing particular compels them/whatever weird thing the demons in their head want to talk about, and people out there who are also compelled, and/or relate, find that writing. A lot of discussions of writing really center around what readers want rather than a writer's exploration. Sometimes as a reader I don't know what I want. I click on a fic or pick up a book I'm not sure about but that looks interesting, and I love it. Reading what I expect to get is it's own joy, but we always need to expand our horizons and not get mad at creators for not always writing what we want/expect.
...what things are antisemitic that gentiles donât usually pick up on?
I was talking to my wife the other day and the word âcabalâ came up, and also following some folks who practice Jewish mysticism, I was like âwait a minute...I bet money that this word has antisemitic rootsâ and sure enough, gentiles took it from the term âKabbalahâ and now it means cult or secret political group. Yikes.
If I was able to pick up on that, I was wondering what kinda stuff flies under my brainâs Hate Detection Radar all the time.
Hi friend! Such an important question, and thanks so much for asking it.
Because antisemitism is one of the worldâs oldest prejudices, it is absolutely baked into our language (particularly in the west, but thanks to western imperialism it is a global problem as well). Cabal is a great example of a word that is steeped in antisemitism but that many people do not realize is antisemitic in origin. Hereâs some other words/phrases that I hear used uncritically by people and that are steeped in antisemitism:
- Cabal
- New world order/NWO
- Global elites/cosmopolitan elites/coastal elites
- Rothschilds
- âJew downâ/âjewedâ
- lizard people
- Illuminati
- scapegoat
And some dog whistles that are more pointedly antisemitic, but that the uninitiated may not realize are antisemitic code:
- Zionist organized government/ZOG
- Khazars
- kosher tax
- đ
- âthe goyim knowâ
Thereâs plenty more (sadly), but these are the ones I see floating around unchallenged the most often, so I thought Iâd highlight them. Thanks again for such a good and helpful question!
Hey I know that weâre dealing with something huge right now but trump is trying to allow adoption agencies to refuse services to lgbtq+ families.... not only is this descrimination but there are TOO many children in the system for them to allow this. Those kids need homes.... Iâm disgusted
