Couldn’t even get his name right, highly doubt it’s happening. He’s most likely still going to Italy. Madrid fans seem to be moderately supportive, see him as a good 3rd choice, along with leadership. He’d probably do well in Spain. After all he is the goat
Where is he going? W H E R E 😶🌫️
you will not get an answer out of this man
nico what. the. fuck.
poor foreman.. surrounded by idiots desperately trying to fuck that old man
normal reaction when you choose the wrong team at Padel 👀 @mariuswolf27
Who was going to tell me Mats and Marius Wolf, of all people, are padel buddies? What other secret Dortmund bromances are there that we aren’t aware of? 👀
sometimes having a favorite player means you get to see them play one or two seasons at your favorite club (if you're lucky) and after that they transfer to a team you can't or don't want to follow them to. i have been one of the even luckier ones - i got to see one of my absolute favorite players play at my favorite club for over twelve years. the long lost son finally back home.
this bundesliga chapter ends today. and i know a lot of people will look at his career and only see the lacking titles. no bundesliga title, despite bvb being close twice in those years. no world cup title because of an unfortunate injury in the last friendly before the team's flight to brazil. his first champions league final also ended in a defeat (hopefully we'll be more successful the second time around).
when i look at that time, however, i see someone who always believed in his club and especially in its potential. who stood by it in sometimes better and sometimes worse times. who didn't leave, despite that being the easier option. i also see someone who brought players and fans to this club - among them certainly people who maybe would've looked the other way without him.
so thank you, marco. i hope we'll see each other in black and yellow again, when the time's right.
Still annoyed about Mats not getting the call up. We can say everything about his performances, but it’s clear the call ups weren’t based off that. He would have been on the list if it was based off form.
It’s most likely Bagelsmann being worried about someone who can question authority, and Mats has shown he can do that with Terzic, so he’s probably not below doing it with Bagelsmann too.
He is also a 35 year old man who can handle being on the bench for a few matches like a big boy because he is a professional who knows what comes with the job. If he doesn’t fit against a certain opponent, he doesn’t play, and that is especially true with his age at this point.
I just think it’s ridiculous that Mats can’t offer anything in Nagelsmann’s eyes, especially with his recent performances. It would have been real nice to see Jule called up too, but instead we got Koch and Robert Andrich, none of which will probably see playing time.
At least we got Fülle and Schlotti on the squad, real proud for them, they truly deserve it after all their hard work. It’s good they got seen.
Rant over. 😞
Mats won.
This increases his chances of staying by a landslide, it is unlikely he goes to Italy now, since he got Terzic kicked out. I’m very happy about him staying now.
I am also a bit concerned about our coaching situation now. We’ve had around 5 (?) coaches since Klopp left in 2015, almost 10 years ago. It shows that we have a very unstable coaching situation. Klopp stayed for a very long time, and no other coaches we have had have stayed for an amount of time anywhere near his tenure.
Hopefully we can get a good coach for next season, or have Nuri Sahin or Bender take over, which is most likely the situation that will happen.
