“Smile for the camera sweetie.” Sally’s mom said to her as she continued to pout.

Sally’s mom worked for a photography company. During take your daughter to work day Sally had gotten bored and began looking through some of the paperwork on her moms office when she came across a document from Nintendo USA. Apparently they had commissioned her moms company to photograph the winner of a contest. Curious Sally got out her phone and after some quick digging she managed find out more about the the contest. It seemed Nintendo was releasing a new line of Pokémon themed clothing and the winners of the contest would get to model the clothing for advertisements in Japan.

The contest seemed simiple enough. All you had to do was go online and complete a quiz about Pokémon. Sally grinned reading this. She often struggled at school but one thing she was good at was remembering things about Pokémon, both the anime and the games. So Sally started up the quiz and answered all the questions.

“Ha, and people said my knowledge of Pokémon was useless. But now I’m going to be a fashion model in Japan!” Sally thought to herself as she filled out her information before submitting her contest entire.

After a few weeks Sally’s mom walked into her room.

“Um, Sally?” Her mom asked looking over at her.

“Yeah mom?” Sally asked looking up from her Nintendo switch.

“Did you enter the Pokémon fan contest Nintendo was holding?”

“Yes I did. Why? Did I win?!” Sally asked excitedly.

“Oh dear.” Sally’s mom said a little worriedly.

“I didn’t win, did I?” Sally said crestfallen.

“Well actually you did.” Sally’s mom said nervously.

“I did! Wait the. What’s the problem?”

“Sally did you read what type of clothing you’d be middling?”

“I skimmed it, why?”

Sally’s mom the. Went on to explain that the contest was meant for kids between between 5 and 10 with incontinent issues and that the clothing would be diapers and other childish clothing but the company was willing to have her model plus size variants of the clothing.

After hearing this Sally refused to model the clothing at first but eventually agreed after leaning that the photography company was set to loose a lot of money if she refused and under the condition that her mother be the one to photograph her privately.

Sally’s mom had taken her out of school the day of the photo shoot but it still didn’t make her feel less embarrassed about the clothing she was being made to wear. Next time she will definitely remember to read ALL contest information before entering.
