If you miss cars on track - there are some events happening this weekend.
There's the Formula Regional Oceanic Championship (CTFROC), which is in its 2nd round and features Redbull 2026 prospect Arvid Lindblad (among many other very talented drivers).
Then there is the Roar before the 24 (think that's what it's called). It's part of the Rolex 24/24 hours of Daytona, which is taking place next weekend. That is part of the IMSA series, an American endurance racing series. If you watch Indycar, you'll recognize some faces!
This weekend also marks the start of both the Formula Regional Middle Eastern Championship (FRMEC) & the Formula 4 UAE championship. Hamda Al Qubaisi, who you might recognize from F1 Academy, is taking part in the latter!
I think that's it for racing this weekend, but I'd say: If you want cars on tracks, there's many to watch this weekend!
Oh yeah, for sure, I've been keeping an eye on both Arvid and Hamda in their respective series (RedBull may be a house of horrors, but it's my house of horrors, and I am rooting for them, especially Hamda). A friend of mine has actually been introducing me to Formula Drift, which is pretty freaking cool. It's been keeping me busy enough learning about it. I've also been trying to figure out Formula E because they have a race not far from where I live, and I wanna see if it's worth it to go. Still, though, I deeply miss F1. It was the first motorsport I fell in love with on my own (my dad loves motorcross).
Oh my goodness, this is amazing. You get it!! Let him have a life. He deserves to try to find himself through music or art or whatever else. I'm so happy you found that I made sense. I'm really feeling like they need to give him an episode where he develops and isn't just a protector for the others. Love your work!!
Some time ago, I read a post from @lemonlimeturtle about Hunter and I 100% agree with what they wrote.
Clearly, Hunter is tired. He’s taking care of his squad all the time. I think he needs a hobby, something just for himself, something that would allow him to step out of the role of a soldier for a moment. And I believe that thanks to his hightened senses, he would be able to appreciate art and also be creative himself (or I like to believe it because I love the idea of Hunter doing art). And guitar seems to be the perfect musical instrument for him.
So I drew this.

I'd like to see more culture in Star Wars. I feel like we need a show post Empire where worlds are finally starting to celebrate the way they did before the Empire. I want them to maybe show us that rebellion doesn't just have to be a war, but also the insistence of having community despite everything preventing you from doing so. I think that is why Marva's funeral was so important. It was just people not soldiers, or pilots, or Jedi, just a community mourning the loss of an elder, and angry that she, so many others, and their traditions were disrespected by an institution that wishes to separate them from their identities.

I fear I was screaming at my TV, and my roommates think I'm insane. I hope Yuki knows how much love he's getting from people who truly thought he should have gotten that Redbull seat. And Lewis winning in a Ferrari (even if its just a sprint) ugh its so good. An all POC podium is coming. I can feel it in my bones.
