“Fuck,” He groans loudly, holding his head. 

A moan comes from the couch, “What you complaining about so early in the damn morning?”

“My head is killing me,” Jungkook informs his temporary housemate. 

“Then take some medicine and drink some fucking water,” Taehyung groans in annoyance. 

“Can’t. Hurts too bad.”

“Damn it all to hell,” Taehyung grumbles as he gets up and stumbles to the kitchen. He fumbles with the cabinets until he pulls out a bottle of medicine, then he grabs a glass and fills it up with water. 

He stomps back to Jungkook, huffing the whole way. 

“Sit up,” He barks.

This is a very very old ask and I'm so sorry it took so long to answer 😔 tbh, I was a tad bit nervous to answer this one and kept getting all in my head about it and making myself overthink how to answer.

If I'm being honest, there are some people I was friends with once but it kind of just trickled out, ya know? They're still nice and stop by my page once in a while, but I guess we kinda just went our own ways. As sad as that sounds, I know certain people come into your life when you need them and sometimes when it's not meant to be forever, they're gone again. It's bittersweet.

I'm so glad you were able to have one of those moments of knowing that you were so lucky to find someone.

There is one person though that's always been there for me, through thick and thin. I think it's reaching almost three years now since we've been friends, or soulmates more like 😂

@flowerprincejin is honestly the sweetest, most kind-hearted, selfless, beautiful, funniest little bean ever and I wouldn't trade her for anything in this world. I don't think she realizes how special she is.

“Lyra! Get down here, please!” You shout throughout the house, loud enough for your teenaged daughter to hear. 

It’s been six years since your return to earth, and things have been far better than you initially anticipated them to be. Jungkook grew accustomed to Earth and human values rather quickly with the help of you; he was careful and quick to pick up on the way they saw things as opposed to the barbaric ways of his kind. Jungkook had always had a softer heart, so it wasn’t the hardest task for him.  

Other things came a little slower to him though, like controlling his abilities around people. There had been one too many times where he had accidentally communicated through his mind with others and that nearly drove them into insanity, needless to there were plenty of booked in therapy sessions because of him. At the start, whenever he felt even a little mad or just protective of you, his tentacles would threaten to appear, one time all four shooting out at full length completely. He’s lucky that only happened one time, because he was able to convince the guy that none of it ever really happened.  

Other than that, it took him around a year to get used to not using them in public, as he could comfortably be himself at home. For a while it meant he would simply just walk around the house with them hovering around him, which had almost given your mother a heart attack initially, but she didn’t have to worry about it much longer.

After finishing his lessons for the day, the young male hurried to his room to freshen up before heading for the palace stables. It paid to be a demi-god son of Anubis; Egyptian lord of the Afterlife. Giving the royal stable boy some coins to keep him quiet, Jungkook swiftly mounted the midnight black horse and was off in a flash.

It was forbidden. A forbidden love. However, the male could care less as he flicked the reins to urge his horse to move faster. Not even his own father was going to stop him from seeing you. Then again…..no one knew but you and him. Both of your fathers knowing none the wiser. A dangerous game but one he was willing to play if it meant being with you. His one and only love.

You were doomed by association, really. For you too were a demi-god child. Your father? The infamous Set; Egyptian lord of chaos. The history between your fathers was a dark one.
