sometimes i wonder why we try to publish in high-tier journals... i love a letter that fits in a smaller journal!

also, it's seemingly always a desk rejection from high-tier journals for our own work, yet the same journal requests me to review other work for them :(

i had an idea to post something here last night, but instead i kept watching the fireflies outside of your window

let me never forget how fortunate i am!! and please let me spread that feeling as far as i can.
