"If you use em dash in your works, it makes them look AI generated. No real human uses em dash."
Imaging thinking actual human writers are Not Real because they use... professional writing in their works.
Imagine thinking millions of people who have been using em dash way before AI becomes a thing are all robots.
One of my friends just apperently recieved the new album physically (on cassette) and... if true and people are getting it this early... shit, it's probably gonna be online iminently if people are getting them. Can we all agree to wait for the official release? I know it will be tempting to listen if it leaks but ... this is Tobias' heart and soul and any teasers or anything like that that were planned will be royally screwed if it goes online before the official release. And if you are someone who gets one early... by all means listen but don't post it. He works so hard for this and it was scheduled for the 25th... let us hear it from Ghost's official social(ist) media or from the releases we pre ordered. Please. I know one little post on here won't make much of a difference but... can we respect the band who have given us so much? Just a little PSA cause i can see this shit coming now.
let’s settle this shit but do NOT reblog if you’re gonna be modest about it like a little BITCH. anyway privilege check tell me which ones apply to you: hot, funny, can dance, can do math, can spell, can drive, can cook
i hope im a positive influence on somebody’s life
Hey, so, I thought I'd come on here and say that I haven't been posting my mushy may stuff because I've been out of the country and will be until Friday
I'll see what I do when I get back to Spain!
Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice
with tumblr often glitching and unfollowing people on accident, reblog this if it is okay for (former) mutuals to message you if they notice you suddenly unfollowed them out of nowhere, asking if it was a mistake — granted if it wasn't, the person remains respectful of your decision and leaves it at that once they get an answer.
everyone can reblog this, but i figure this is especially good for those of us who use the (soft) blocking feature if we decide to unfollow someone instead of just unfollowing. this way, we can be alerted if tumblr has unfollowed a friend of ours without us noticing, as well as the other mutual not having to have anxiety about you suddenly hating them or worrying that you'll get upset for them asking if it was a mistake or not.
this, of course, does not mean that you are okay with people pushing to continue conversations with you if you say you unfollowed them. let's all be adults here.
The ghost concert I'm going to got cancelled, I'm literally crying
I do think fandom would be wildly different if people respected fanfic writing. And I don’t mean treating it as a skill you need to improve or comparing it to published writing—I mean treating it as a hobby worth respect no matter the effort or perceived skill. You don’t look at someone’s art sketches and tell them to go study paintings to improve or to only post something polished. You don’t tell people admiring fanart to go to the moma instead. You don’t go to a gif maker and ask for more gifs minutes after they post. Or ask someone who writes a song to make a second song or tell them how you think they should improve it to your taste. So why do you do all these things to fic writers
Writer, mostly Ghost Band. If you need anything, don't hesitate to rant to me
