If I was desperate for kudos I would not be out here posting villain ships, minor character rarepairs, and other deeply unpopular ships.
I know how to write popular fic. I know how to farm kudos. That's not what I'm here for.
"Readers need to remember that authors don't know a reader liked their fic unless the reader tells them by leaving a kudos or a comment" does not mean "waahhh waahhh I need attention!"
It means "even if writers write purely for themselves, if you don't bother to interact with writers when you do enjoy their work, they might stop posting and just keep their work to themselves."
"If you enjoy a work you should kudos or comment" is not aimed at the people who aren't reading the fanfiction in question.
"If you enjoy a work you should kudos or comment" is not aimed at the people who did not enjoy the fanfiction in question.
"If you enjoy a work you should kudos or comment" is aimed at people who read a fanfiction, enjoyed it, and then didn't bother to even do the bare minimum to share their excitement about it with the work's creator, even though that excitement is literally the only thing they get in return for posting their work.
Fanfiction authors write because they enjoy writing. They post because they want to form a connection with the people who enjoyed their work.
This is not an attempt to scold anyone, I literally don't care if I get kudos or not. It's simply an attempt to remind people that fanfiction is a community, and fan authors can't read your mind.
Could use some luck

someone on twitter is trying to claim that use of an em-dash is an indication of AI-generated writing because it’s “relatively rare” for actual humans to use it. skill issue

As the sun started filtering through the curtains, Phantom looked down and saw Aurora in their arms. She was sleeping so comfortably, the brightness of the scars that were scattered around her cheeks increasing and decreasing in intensity, to phantom, that was mesmerising.
A few minutes later, Aurora also woke up, looking up at him, “morning…” She murmured, her voice quiet and sleepy. Phantom returned the greeting and held her closer.
Phantom couldn’t believe how lucky they had gotten when being summoned topside, Earth had many challenges and foreign things, but they now had a pack that loved them just the way they were.
Aurora spoke up again, now a bit more awake. “We should start getting up, we have practice at ten.”
And with that, both ghouls were lazily going around the room, getting dressed in their uniforms and ready for the day.
Aurora moved to her vanity and Phantom waited behind her, watching as she brushed her hair, getting the multi coloured strands that resembled a galaxy in a ponytail and out of her face. Phantom stared at her reflection as she cleansed her face and put on some gloss and a bit of mascara. They then placed a small kiss on the top of her head, and both ghouls put on their masks.
Soon, they were both out of the room, ready to start their day.
Hey, so uh...
I didn't publish the Day two of Mushy May yesterday because I had to go to a funeral...
But I'll publish day 2 and 3 this afternoon!
archers gloves vs digital artist gloves being opposite of one another
I feel like we've all seen this pic by now but it's been haunting me, lately. Like yeah, "omg Dew boot so small, he tiny" YES I KNOW AND I AGREE. BUT!!! Look at literally everything else???
There's five uniforms and five pair of boots, this is the men's changing room. Copia doesn't get changed with them, you can't see a single piece of his costumes.
This is Pre-Impera because that's the only time they used the capes on stage for the guys. The fact that there's a whole bag of gloves right there makes me wonder if this was for a photoshoot, since the gloves were never used on stage as far as I could find, but the cable in the case makes me doubt that.
Shirts are sprawled around, I wonder who put them there and why they're not on hangers like the other pieces.
You can see that the vests on the rack have shoulder patches and the ones in the closet case don't, which means that they are removable. You already know that if you've been following me a while, I made a whole post talking about how much I hate velcro. It must be partly to preserve them, which makes me wonder how expensive they were to make.
In the far right corner, you can also see that the jackets are stored withour shoulder pads. This is 100% to protect them and save space since they aren't flexible.
You can also see that some shirts in the case visibly have ruffles at the cuffs, while others don't. Since this is Pre-Impera, the one with ruffles is either Rain's, Aether's or Swiss'.
The second to last jacket on the rack is Dew's, you can see white stitching at the cuffs and he's the only one who has that.
I dunno why, I also love seeing the costumes about to be used and the extras they have for wash days and in case something breaks.
I gotta admit, though... I have no idea what this is and it's driving me insane.
Soap and Ghost? Boyfriends.
Alejandro and Rudy? Husbands.
I don’t make the rules.
Writer, mostly Ghost Band. If you need anything, don't hesitate to rant to me
