Hello,,
My name is Malak, I am 18 years old, and I am a medical student. My dream has always been to complete my education and travel abroad to achieve my aspirations. However, the war has destroyed our lives and halted my educational journey. My family and I live in Tal Alhawa, Gaza, and we once had a happy life and a beautiful home.
My little brothers, my support and my beloved ones: Moataz, Moatasem & Fadel.
My dad is Abdelhamid Dader, who used to work at a water station, and my mother is Mona Alanqar. I have siblings named Shahd, Moataz, Moatasem, and Fadel.
Moataz was killed in cold blood. He was a lifeline and a beating heart..
Our house was burned and destroyed, forcing us to move 20 times in different areas in northern Gaza. My father was injured and couldn't receive the necessary treatment due to a lack of medical supplies and the difficulty of travel. My 15-year-old brother Moataz was killed :( by a missile while trying to fetch water, and my younger brother was injured in the same incident and also couldn’t get proper medical care.
Beautiful memories gathered here..
This is what our house has turned into in this nightmare that we are still living.
My father's job ended because of the war and his injury, and his workplace was destroyed. We spent all our savings, and now we cannot provide the basics of life as famine chases us in the north. My mother and younger brother contracted hepatitis due to pollution, poor nutrition, and lack of healthcare. We all suffer from fainting and loss of consciousness due to these diseases and malnutrition.
Part of the life I had in Faculty of Medicine..
Moments of joy in excelling in success and obtaining a 99% average in high school.
Now, we are fighting for a space to sleep among the rubble, and fighting to get water and food.
I appeal to your kind hearts to help me and my family survive this tragedy. My dream is to complete my education abroad, get the necessary treatment for my family, and live a dignified life like other human beings.
Your donation, no matter how small, can change our lives and give us hope for a brighter future. This can help cover the costs of treatment and travel.
Share our story with your friends and family to raise awareness and support.
Pray to God to admit you to Paradise and compensate us with great goodness.. RIP
Your words and prayers give us the strength to endure these difficult circumstances.
Thank you to everyone who stands with us in this hardship. Together, we can make a difference.
Malak and Her Family
Sincerely,
Malak and Her Family
Tried to make a little mini comic of one of my characters, Sirene (who is played by ben Schwartz in my brain cause it fits) . Btw the context is that Sirene is having a nightmare about how the fight with Bastion (another oc of mine) could've gone if it went further than him being choked against a wall and then being slammed into said wall so hard it leaves a bloody indent lol
If you’re a Leftist, if you support Palestine, it’s absolutely detrimental that you read this. I actually encourage that everyone should read this:
“The Palestinian People have consistently made it crystal clear that our enemy is the colonialist and racist ideology of Zionism, not Jews.”
“I have zero interest in memorising or apologising for centuries old tropes created by Europeans, or giving semantics more heft than they warrant, chiefly when millions of us confront real, tangible oppression[…]”
Words by Mohammed El-Kurd.
Hello,,
My name is Ashraf Alanqar, and I am 30 years old. My wife, Widad Issa, and I have a one-and-a-half-year-old son named Bakr. We used to live peacefully in the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, in a house we built just a week before the war began. I worked as a farmer and owned a large chicken farm that provided for my family.
Beloved of my heart (Bakr)
Then the war came and destroyed everything. Our home was reduced to ashes, and our chicken farm was obliterated. We lost our home, our livelihood, and even our basic rights. We've been forced to move from place to place in northern Gaza, simply trying to survive.
My House before...
Me.. while trying to recognize what has happened..
The terror we feel as we flee from heavy bombardment is unbearable. The sound of explosions around us, the constant fear as we navigate through the rubble of destroyed homes searching for safety and food, haunts us every day. My son Bakr is constantly scared and suffers from severe malnutrition and skin diseases due to the lack of food, water, and sanitation.
Our beautiful memories.. :(
We urgently need your help. I am asking for your support to fund this campaign to move my family to a safe place, provide us with a proper home, and ensure we have enough food, water, and medical care.
Baker used to play with his dog.
Your donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in our lives. We desperately need your support and solidarity during this difficult time. Together, we can restore hope and safety to Ashraf and his family.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering my plea. Your support means more than words can express. Together, we can turn a story of loss into a journey of hope and resilience.
With deepest gratitude,
Ashraf & the Family
