Day fifteen of posting my photography 📷
My mum and I went on a day trip recently to the Peak District National Park and whilst we were driving along Snake Pass in the evening, we caught sight of one of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen.
The bottom image was taken alongside Ladybower Reservoir.

Day thirteen of posting my photography! 📷
(I may have forgotten this afternoon)
So I went to Peak Wildlife Park the other day. I wasn’t expecting the polar bears but they were a nice surprise when we got there!
I made a little deer friend which let me stroke its head and in return it gave me a muddy hand 🥰
The polar bears! There was a mother and her two cubs, although those two year old boys were the same size as her, and are expected to double in size by the time they’re fully grown.
They were very playful and were jumping all over each other in the water and throwing their floaty toys around. Mum was out in the back hut, snuggling down in the warm bedding which I thought was very sensible on that very cold day.
The arctic foxes were super cute!!
Very fluffy and active, they were wandering all over their enclosure shouting at each other. Very pretty animals!
Just a cute couple of birds that were eagerly watching the meerkats being fed mealworms.
The meerkats!
One of the keepers was doing a keeper for the day experience with a couple of guests and were feeding them mealworms. One of the meerkats decided that the lady’s fluffy and comfy hood was the perfect lookout spot!
The lemurs! This guy’s seen some stuff… 💀
It was a walk through enclosure, so the lemurs weren’t afraid to wander around people which was nice!
Oh and as always the penguins were super photogenic!
Hope you’ve enjoyed my piccies!
there IS actually a reason why seconds and minutes (and degrees for geometry) are in base 60 instead of base 10, and if you want to blame someone for that, blame the very specific way Babylonians counted with their fingers.
Day eight of posting my photography 📷
This is Elessar! He was my Siamese Fighting/Beta fish. He was a very pretty boy and enjoyed his nice large tank.
He shared his tank with my two frogs Sam and Dean (of which Dean decided she liked the look of Elessar’s tail for food and took a chomp. The froggies very quickly got relocated into a temporary tank!)
Day One of posting my photography 📷
This was from my holiday in Exmoor National Park and I was driving up what I think is Crook Horn Hill. It was Autumn and beautiful!
