That was his answer, perhaps it was the lust calling, her pheromones but he couldn't live with himself if he did not forgive her at this moment.

“That may be true.. but I cannot hold myself simply to you, even if you wish it.. the world would be empty and barren without love, even lust..” She drew her fingers along his lower lip, leaning in to dust a kiss across his cheek. “I know I have been cruel, father, for holding myself away from you, always out of reach and touch. Do you forgive me for that?”
