I hate it when parents go “ Do you think you’re smarter than me” or something like that and then when you go “ I never said that.” They go “ yeah, but you were thinking it”.
Are you a mind reader because if so, we need to have a conversation such as why wasn’t this awesome power passed down and what planet are you from.
You ever think about how much easier Simon and Wille's relationship would be if they communicated
It's true there are external factors keeping them apart but (and I say this with love) how much time did we spend going around and around with "you don't understand" "no you don't understand" "it's not easy for me" "it's not easy for me either" but now it her of them actually know anything about the other bc the straight up never explain. Simon says "it feels like you just brushed off the video like he's faced no problems" bc from the outside that's exactly what it looks like. it DOES seem like willes brushed it off and faced no consequences bc Simon doesn't get any of the scenes we get. He doesn't get a great explanation of really anything. And Wille doesn't get great explanations for everything either. But if they talked stuff out productively we wouldn't have drama.
Finally ththere's more understanding in the Reading/lit class scene(which I love, also no way ppl don't realize they're in love with each other)
Leon, alias ugliesarewaste, alias killalluglies, alias slaughter-uglies, etc. is back. He targets people who he thinks are ugly and bombards them with asks telling them to kill themself. His URL changes constantly since Tumblr keeps deleting his blog, but it's always pretty similar in it's meaning.
I'm pretty unbothered by comments like that, plus I've already annoyed him so much he blocked me once, but please, if you see this guy in your notifications, BLOCK THAT MOTHERFUCKER. He's dangerous. Earlier this year he caused a girl to commit suicide and on top of that he's also a pedophile.
uh oh not me yelling at tumblr again

The US elections are over and though I know Tumblr likes to focus on US-centric drama and news, you have to pay Southeast Asia attention.
People are dying from this typhoon and their homes are being flooded ON TOP of having to deal with a pandemic.
There are videos out there of people crying for help and whole areas being flooded.
For contextualisation: Keep in mind that Typhoon Ulysses is roughly equivalent to a Category-2 Hurricane.

- Depression/ is one of the most common mental illnesses in the world, and it’s also one of the most easily missed. While most people would describe it as a prolonged period of sadness, it’s much more than that, and it’s definitely not one you can “snap out of” as many people erroneously think. It causes severe symptoms that affect how you feel, think, and handle daily activities, such as sleeping, eating, or working. To be diagnosed with depression, the symptoms must be present for at least two weeks. Depression can happen at any age, but often begins in adulthood. Depression is now recognized as occurring in children and adolescents, although it sometimes presents with more prominent irritability than low mood. Many chronic mood and anxiety disorders in adults begin as high levels of anxiety in children.
- Meditation/ is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing their mind on a particular object, thought or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.
Meditation offers time for relaxation and heightened awareness in a stressful world where our senses are often dulled. Research suggests that meditation has the potential for more than just temporary stress relief.
Educators, spiritual leaders, and mental health experts have developed dozens of forms of meditation. The variety suggests there is a form of meditation to suit most people, regardless of personality or lifestyle.
Listen to The Very First Night by Taylor Swift and tell me it doesn't remind you of Wilhelm and Simon from Young Royals "I wish I could fly I'd pick you up and we'd go back in time" "Not tryin' to fall in love, but we did like children runnin' Back then we didn't know we were built to fall apart We broke the status quo, then we broke each other's hearts" "But don't forget about the night out in L.A. Danced in the kitchen, chased me down through the hallway No one knows about the words that we whispered No one knows how much I miss you"

I’ve been seeing a lot of anti-Nazi ones, which is great, but I felt like we needed one to show our support for the Jewish community.
