Clive Music Taste headcanons because I can

he said he didn’t like metal music but I’m projecting so I say he actually does and he’s a little embarassed. He likes metalmatica (the band seen in Larry’s place) which is the only canonic band of which I am aware of.

I’d say he’d also enjoy blur (also oasis but idk I feel like he’d prefer blur), weezer, The Kaiser Chiefs (specifically ‘i predict a riot’ and ‘oh my god’.) I think he’d also like REM and U2 because idk. Also other Britrock bands I forgot about. Clive would be a huge fan of depeche mode (I put that on my Clive playlist but forgot to put it in the og post, thanks wander for helping me out there) and kraftwerk.

Nervous this doesn’t feel enough like Clive but this is how I interpret his character so yeah.

I think it's really funny how Clive Handforth and Larry Pokémon were both designed to be the most boring and painstakingly normal guys around, but each game's respective community immediately fell in love with the character. They are both the kind of people to go "look kid, I'd love to help you save the world, but I really gotta file taxes" if you catch them at a certain time.
