time to set my goals (late) for the next semester of school:
dedicate more time my research project :)
achieve a high gpa (especially in my physics, mandarin, and literature classes)
receive a score of 1400+ on my first sat in december!
submit essays to journals and writing competitions
apply to a few different summer courses!
find more time to journal and reflect
i know these are pretty intense goals but i know i can achieve them :) i am also moving houses soon so i really hope this year i can learn how to prioritise and stay on top of things more!

I will say as a math person there is this weird degree to which it makes me like, angry to read about physics. like it just frustrates me, the way they write. it gets on fucking nerves.
learning about physics is crazy bc you start with "gravity makes you fall down" which becomes "gravity is a change in the shape of spacetime" and eventually arrive at "gravity might be fake actually"
