Danny knew that by joining the justice league that he would occasionally be called in to do missions and that was fine, he knew that it was a necessary thing. Where the problem lies however were the partners he got assigned with on the mission, and they themselves weren't really that hard to deal with either however, where the real problem with them lies is that for some reason all the heroes he gets paired up with either had lightning/electricity powers or mainly fought with electric weapons. And that's a really difficult, personal and uncomfortable issue to explain
ooo i dig this sm. The characters that I immediately thought of that would be really interesting to be with Danny in this situation: Static Shock, Shazam, or Kid Flash. How do you tell your partner that you are scared of them because you died via electrocution? Where do you even start? Danny doesn't know.
I’m just saying, the Volturi would get a whole lot more members if they offered to pay off student loans for anyone who was willing to join them. Like, if some random sketchy woman with red eyes came up to me while I was figuring out how I’m gonna pay my next water bill and pay off my student loans and said that if I joined her friends my debts would be paid I would pack my bags and join the immortal life in a heartbeat if it meant I didn’t have to stress over paying back thousands of dollars to the government for the rest of my life.
This Idea has been eating away at me, so I just had to share it:
John Constantine as Danyy's uncle.
Just imagine that the Justice league needs help on a ghost problem, so they decide to summon a 'heroic spirit'. It's all dramatic, as summonings usually are, Up until Constantine is just like 'Danny?!'
Danny tries to deny it, but Constantine can recognize his family in other ways than just looking at them, and isn't having it.
Just Danny trying to explain to his uncle that he isn't dead, while also trying to keep the justice league in the dark. And that's as long as he doesn't accidentally let slip that he's also the ghost king.
oh my god
I adore this idea. The JL also would be shocked to see that side of Constantine. They never thought that he would be remotely good with kids but somehow he's doing quite well.
In relation to dragons, especially those posts about their monocular vision, I’d like to pitch a fantasy concept here-
The usual view of dragon riders is that the riders get a lot out of it and dragons, eh, dragons get something. Something intangible and ill defined and usually not a good enough reason to really justify it.
But what about dragons that bond with humans because humans offer a massive tactical advantage.
Okay, say you’re some scrawny fucking dragon. And like, you’re not doing bad for yourself- 40 feet of well armored fire breathing death does pretty decently by definition- but in the pecking order of dragons, you’re pretty low. You get your ass kicked if you try to challenge any big players.
And then one day you come upon this human- this weird fucker out in the middle of the woods yelling nonsense and you’re fine to move along but all of a sudden there’s a huge pull on the natural energy around you and you get whacked with this surge of light-
And you’ve mind melded with the fucker.
You’re both trying to figure out what’s going on, and all of a sudden, of course, rolls in a bigger dragon who’s going to beat the shit out of you for being in their territory.
So you’re trying to fly away, this human is clinging to you like their life depends on it, this bigger dragon is trying to kill you. It’s a bad day. But the human scrambles up on top of you and you realize, hey, for some reason you can see out of their eyes. You’ve got near 360 degree monocular vision (which you’re used to) but now like 100 degrees of super sharp depth perception on top of that. Which is actually letting you dodge a lot better. And you’re thinking faster- you can hear- feel?- the humans thoughts, and they’re pretty fast and smart thinkers too.
So you’re actually, now, suddenly turning the tables on this fight. The other dragon is bigger but now that’s working against them because your increased vision and reaction time lend themselves to speed. And then there’s this huge fucking pull on your energy, like massive- and a fucking lightning bolt shoots out and whacks the other dragon out of the sky. Like, oh, dragon-jesus, that’s what humans can do with magic?
So all of a sudden, you have this tiny squishy meatbag that’s transformed you from bottom of the pecking order to Top Dragon In Town because you have better vision and reflexes and you can use them as a locus for precise magical spells by mind melding with this tiny punk.
So of course you sit down and figure out how the fuck you melded in the first place and do it again. And dragon society is transformed, because now it favors the most social dragons, the ones able to mind-meld with humans the best. Because those ones get massive tactical advantages. So having human riders makes actual fucking sense. It’s basically a matter of survival.
Just think about it...
“the Bible says homosexuality is a sin” well the Bible also has a lot of sexism, rape, incest, violence and a lot of contradictory messages in general because it was written by people and people have agendas
I don’t really think that God even has the time to care about if people are gay like if he’s got a whole world to run there are more important things anyway
And if God is love, he’s not just loving me if I am what he wants; he’s loving me as the person he made me to be, which is a queer person
You can’t say “I love you, and I made you gay but I’m sending you to hell you awful sinner” my dude that doesn’t make sense it’s not like hell has a low population is it
The god I believe in loves queer people because that’s how he made us
Jason: So.
Jason: How many murders did you refrain from committing today?
Damian: Thirty two.
Jason: Good for you.
Jason: Here, have a cookie.
Danny Phantom/DC fanfic idea:
Danny gets summoned (they summoned the Ghost king and got 14 year old looking Danny) by the DC characters (your choice) to take care of a ghost that has been causing havoc. The DC characters are pretty much going through Armageddon (idk maybe Pariah got out again or Box ghost decided that buildings count as boxes or Skulker decided hunting Supers would be fun) and Danny’s like “Must be a Monday”. He definitely mutters “Oh, not this asshole again.” Instead of fighting the ghost, Danny just goes “Yo asshole, knock it off!” And much to the DC characters’ surprise the ghost actually listens and stops their rampage and is very apologetic to Danny.
Feel free to use.
sorry dude
This is just marvelous :-)
Compositing this scene took me 15 hours, plus the 8 that took me to gather all of the pieces for Orlesian architecture. I’m adding a render breakdown below

Twilight AU where Bella’s gift is that she’s a literal magnet for danger. Bears show up at the cottage all the time (much to Emmett’s delight), she’s totaled 3 vehicles already because cars seem to swerve to hit her, the bonfire Seth made in the backyard exploded when she got too close, and she’s completely given up on trying to go into the city anymore.
It’s not until Edward helps her realize she might be able to control the magnet inside her that it actually starts to seem like a gift instead of a curse. She attracts danger but just like a real magnet she can adjust to repel danger as well. It helps when she visualizes the magnet in her mind. The more she turns the same end of the magnet towards the danger, the stronger the danger is pushed away.
Now she can make cars run off the road to avoid her, fire bends away from her, and when she goes shopping in Port Angeles the bookstore she’s in is the safest place in the city.
If they were, All Might would actually help Midoriya with Ofa and perhaps help him achieve Full Cowl much sooner. Or idk, Aizawa (or SOMEONE, really) could have helped him. Like really, who would look at kid breaking his bones and think its because he was too lazy to train his quirk? (ep. 5- Aizawa during softball throw). Izuku didn't even have to tell the whole truth about Ofa, he just have to say he is a late bloomer or something and don't know how to control it. There is enough fanfics with this and many are really good with how they approached this issue.
And another thing since I'm already deep in rant. The forest training camp. Everyone knew LoV is targeting the 1-A kids, everyone knew they should boost security. And yet, the teachers were so arrogant they thought noone would discover the "secret camp location" ™ and that the 6 adults are enough to protect 40 kids. The Wild, Wild Pussycats are public figures and its established that in this universe, heroes are basically celebrities. So, the fact they own whole f-ing forest is most likely public knowledge. Yes, maybe there are other locations where camp could have been, but to me this seem like the most obvious choice. And even if LoV didn't originaly knew, they could have just follow the bus the students used to get there. And once again, the number of adults. If I were a principal of hero school and my students had villain targets on their backs, I would sent with them as much heroes as possible. There are ways how they could get there secretly, teleportation quirks do exist. So to cut this short, this whole arc could have been so much better and less stresful if Nedzu used the big brain he claim he have (if he isn't traitor, of course).
And on that note, the very concept of U.A. traitor. Yes, it is real possibility, but also isn't. There are millions of ways how LoV could have get all the secret info. Quirks like Mind reading, Precognition, Clairvoyance, Scrying, Tracking and many more. All For One is f-ing fossil with hundreds, if not thousands quirks. He most definitely have means to track heroes every movement. Or even plain old hacking is an option. So once again, its possible no traitor even exist (but I don't deny there maybe is, it adds a nice drama).
So overal, the whole series would have been different if the U.A. staff actually did their job properly.
(Sorry for the long rant, I really needed to get this out of my system).
BNHA but the teachers are actually competent.
