Danny wasn’t thrilled with the whole ghost king bs. So he just doesn’t do it. The realm was just fine without pariah. Someone else can deal with the paperwork.

The biggest problem tho. The summonings.

No one will teach him how to say no to them. All wanting him to do his duty. He is barely passing his human classes. He refuses king lessons. He’ll take the summons over kingly duties.

Besides. Jazz has a solution.

At all times he is awake, thankfully summons don’t happen when he is asleep. A friend or Jazz is with him.

Armed with the Fenton anti-creep stick or another weapon. Ready to step over the summons circle smack down the cultist here and there and break the summoning circle. Then Danny just opens a portal and they dip.

John on the other hand is more stressed then normal. For some reason the new ghost king is letting any body summon him. Hell. They got reports that a slumber party summoned him.

Rather then ignore the summons. The new king has one of three teenagers deal with the problem. A goth armed with a wrist laser and brass knuckles, a guy with apparently a pda, and then the orange haired one with a flipping bat.

Now he had to summon the king and figure out what’s up.

Anyway. This is about my personal theories/headcanons about the vision requirements

EDIT (again): Just so you know (bc ppl keep mentioning it in the tags), I am well aware Archons don't personally give out visions😅 The Archons' hands are supposed to be more symbolic, since it IS heavily implied they have a subconcious affect on who gets one, even if they don't actually have any active say in it

Fantasy stories should have more “what do you mean you don’t do X” things in compare and contrast of cultures. Like the differences between peoples aren’t the stuff they show off as “These Are Our Culture :)” things, fucking everyone has food and music and folk tales, but the things they’ve always assumed that everyone has, and are baffled to discover that they don’t.

The people who are always barefoot are baffled that humans don’t have a wash basin at their front door where people can wash their feet before stepping inside?? Do they just walk in with their dirty feet? The fuck do you mean you take your shoes off?

Humans don’t have small baby-sized spellbooks for toddlers who just learned to read, so they can safely learn to practice tiny cute and harmless, age-appropriate magic spells before progressing to more mature and demanding spells? What, do they just throw teenagers completely unprepared into the arcane - hold the fuck up, is that why human sorceror mortality is so fucking high?

Dwarves who have always wondered why the entrance to human residences is so fucking big, why do you need to take up such a large area for a door that’s just there to lead downstairs to the underground halls? Are the timber walls really as thick as a human is tall? What for? And once one of them gets invited to a human house to stay and rest, nobody ever fucking believes her: That’s not the entrance, that’s the whole fucking house. 100% of the human house is aboveground, there is no tunnel to the underground levels. They might have a single storage room down there, but the aboveground section is so fucking big because that’s the whole house.

danny's 'the most guy who can't leave well enough alone' ever

This Idea has been eating away at me, so I just had to share it:

John Constantine as Danyy's uncle.

Just imagine that the Justice league needs help on a ghost problem, so they decide to summon a 'heroic spirit'. It's all dramatic, as summonings usually are, Up until Constantine is just like 'Danny?!'

Danny tries to deny it, but Constantine can recognize his family in other ways than just looking at them, and isn't having it.

Just Danny trying to explain to his uncle that he isn't dead, while also trying to keep the justice league in the dark. And that's as long as he doesn't accidentally let slip that he's also the ghost king.

I adore this idea. The JL also would be shocked to see that side of Constantine. They never thought that he would be remotely good with kids but somehow he's doing quite well.

The ghost king ring switches depending on what emotion is strongest in the wearer for pariah dark that was rage he was quick to rage but know how to use it to his advantage

For danny though he's not rage filled thus when the ring claims him as the new ghots king it changes it changes to the emotion he feels the most hope.

Hope for an easy life hope to be an astronaut hope his parents would accept him

Danny becomes the ghostly king of hope being in his mere presence fills ghosts with energy

Basically the ring of rage is a ghostly lantern ring artifact that switches depending on the most powerful emotion the current wearer embodieds

I thought I already answered this but then the end was different. Huh. Anyway, Danny definitely isn't giving the Lanturn Ring Artifact to the guardians or whatever no matter what they say. This has lead to strains in diplomatic relations.

On the plus side (or down side depending on how you view it) many hell and elderich dimensions are open to meeting and negotiating with the new King of the Infinite Realms.
