Thank you @marquisedemasque and everyone who got me to 25 reblogs!
Okay so I just thought of an idea for a TV show based on Frankenstein where it follows the creature on his journey as he learns about the world, but it focuses on his appearance, specifically his body parts.
Like each episode would be about a different body part that Victor used to make him and it cuts between present day with the creature and the past with the person that body part originally belonged to. The episode goes on to show what that person's life was like, how they acted, and eventually how they died.
For example: the creature's hands belonged to a poor, but talented painter and the episode focuses on the creature using his hands (building shelter, making fire, drawing in the dirt with a stick, etc).
Or the creature's face/head belonged to a beautiful male prostitute and the episode shows the similarities/contrast with how he was treated and how the creature is treated.
Thought I’d post another drawing of the creature now that I’ve finished Frankenstein! Hope you enjoy it! (I made the bird tiny for scale to show how big he is)
A quick comic about OPLA Chopper🦌 And maybe a little Zosan😏
I said I was gonna do it… and I did.
Been working on a comic concept for my creature artwork. Here’s just a small interaction between Adam and Evelyn. Hope you like it!
This is so freaking beautiful 😍❤️!
(platonic or romantic!) here's a scrappy comic for my opla boys
He got a new hairstyle <3
Yes, those are daisies, a little nod to the classic movie versions of frankenstein’s monster. (Bought a new procreate brush set for the stitches and scars).
Frankenstein AU where the Creature, upon returning to seek terrible vengeance on Victor after realizing the tragic existence he's been forced into, takes a few days extra to actually, you know, observe Victor and see what he's like, to learn how best to enact his revenge. And he comes to the conclusion that, "Actually, I don't need to do anything, this idiot's going to ruin his own life without any outside interference, and I kinda wanna see how he does it."
Victor then proceeds to continue with his previously demonstrated levels of making good life choices, while now also constantly looking over his shoulder for his Creation and having the vapors at every little thing because oh noes, it's The Monster come back to Get Him-!!!
The Creature: (watching all this unfold through binoculars like it's a soap opera while sneaking in to help himself to Victor's larder and library when he feels like it, and also occasionally hiding small but vital objects, like Victor's keys or shaving blade, in weird spots in the house) Wow, it really does take an incredibly smart man to be quite this stupid, doesn't it?
Just thought I'd share the first Scandinavian creature I ever painted.
Nisse are little gnomish creatures that live in your house. They can be very mischievous if not treated with the respect they deserve (i.e. leaving a hot bowl of porridge out for them) or if you're generally neglectful to your house and livestock.
This is a title card I’ve been toying with for the past month. It might change in the future, but I’m happy with it for now. Let me know if you wanna know more about this story or the characters!
