I'm very unsure whether I'll end up finishing this or not, so I'm posting a wip in case

You're a deity who finds himself in a random world. Bored, you create life. After a bunch of stuff, you've joined the hero party as a tagalong with your true identity hidden. The party knows you as the dude who mumbles blasphemous yet somehow true gossip about past heroes in his sleep.

the siffrin + loop dynamic in the wtf au is so funny to me. they call each other siffrin for exactly one conversation and promptly decide, no, that's weird. can't do that. ew. and promptly never refer to each other by name ever again.

its not enough that the only one who remembers siffrin is this future version of themself thats annoying as crab and acts like they hate him, but also. this future version of themself is also the cause of like. most of his problems right now. not that this fact is immediately evident but can you imagine?

like. having a future you is even more confusing than getting a random star person beamed to your face bc its like. how did you even become this person. what the fuck happened here.

When Post-Loops siffrin finds himself bored or alone for long periods of time, or even at times when he's uncomfortable, he usually goes for just completely zoning out. Then his family found out and were very concerned so.. change of plans

Instead he uses a totally healthy alternative: repeating comforting "scripts" from their time in the loops. Not any of the distressing loops but the ones they've associated to being a stable comfort. If any of his family members walked up while in the middle of this, they'd hear faint mumblings of "enter stage left..." the fighter... the handmaiden... the kid... the researcher..." "actors" etc
