Petition to make a dps sequel where the dead poets children in the 70s-80s kinda just rock up to the school and become the next generation of dead poets.

you can tell that the barbie movie is going to be iconic because it's already generated two "recreate this with your favourite character(s)" trends despite the fact that it isn't coming out until july
im so done with seeing articles about kids and screen time that doesnt mention parent behaviors even once. âkids are always on their phonesâ so are the parents! which the kids look to for how they should behave! ipad babies didnât chose to only play on their ipads, thats what their parents gave them!
an anecdotal example: when i was a kid, all my parents would do in their minimal free time was watch tv and then they would be surprised when in my sister and iâs minimal free time we would also only watch tv/play video games. they scolded us for not reading books, but they never read books. they scolded us for not going outside but they never went outside.
âkids are always on their damn phonesâ my mom is in her 60s and opens up candy crush anytime sheâs sitting â it isnt just the kids
#im gay and i bitting them đ

The things going on with Neil and windows make me want to bash my head against a wall
The first scene of the movie where we see Neil and Toddâs room, the one where Charlie, Meeks and Knox introduce themselves to Todd, and where we see for the first time how controlling Neilâs father is over Neilâs life, Neil was in front of a window
And, this was the focus on Neil (and the window behind him) after his father entered
He, very obviously, is not happy, and the focus is not only on his face and reaction, but the background is also a window. A closed window.
Windows look into the outside. Freedom, I would say. The window is closed, Neil doesnât have freedom.
Which reminds of
Thereâs this deleted scene of Neil reading his script, sitting in front of a window and looking outside of it. The window is also closed.
The window is closed, but he is looking at the outside through it.
At the start, Neil wasnât even looking outside the window, he was just in front of it, but now (before the play), he was looking to the outside, even if it was still closed.
Neil is looking at freedom. He wants freedom, he seeks it. At the start, Neil wasnât even looking for it, convinced than he would never be allowed that and would just follow his fatherâs wishes and be trapped forever. In that scene, he was looking for freedom. He didnât have it yet, the window was closed, but he was looking for it. He wanted it, he was willingly to seek it. And he did seek it on the movie, he continued with the play, even if against his fatherâs words. He wanted the freedom, and he went to get it.
The last shot with a window (than a remember), is this one
The window is open.
Thereâs an evolution, as we see.
First, closed window, not even looking at the outside (heâs trapped, and doesnât think that will ever change, so he just succumbed to it), then, closed window but looking at the outside (still trapped, but seeking freedom and willingly to get it, even if heâs going against his father). Now, open window, looking directly at the outside. He has that freedom now, somehow. He can choose what to do with his life. Can choose to continue and go to military school, or end it, by choice, taking his life on his hands.
it was supposed to be two weeks off of school but for some reason i watched a wolfstar tiktok and now itâs three years later and i run a tumblr about harry potters dead dad, dead mom, his dead Godfather, his dead teacher, his dads dead boyfriend whoâs also the Godfathers brother, that guys best friend and his boyfriend, a random girl who was mentioned one time in the series because âshe was killed two weeks after this was takenâ, her girlfriend, luna lovegoods mom, and the guy who betrayed them all
one of the biggest mistakes Remus made while being friends with the Marauders is telling them that you can use glasses to start fires
When you don't know what to do, ask what Henry Chinaski would do
