AU Where He Said Yes Aka Bittersweet Marriage AU

Two drawings of Poor Edward and my Fallen London character Samuel, together romantically; one shows Edward leaning his mask against Samuel's forehead, saying "We should have shared the milk, my love. You could have been as happy as I am." Samuel undoes his shirt, expression resigned but not unhappy, and replies "Ha. Maybe." The second drawing is Sam and Edward sitting next to each other, with Edward pouring them each a glass of wine; Edward is eagerly happy to see him and Samuel is doing his best to smile.

AU Where He Said Yes aka Bittersweet Marriage AU

since i mentioned it in the tags of one of those character asks, I dug up some of the sketches from when I was pondering how it might have worked out, if Samuel had agreed to marry Poor Edward... He isn't in love with Edward, but Sam felt a lot of sympathy for this out-of-control whirlwind of self-destruction and wanted to... help him, somehow. If he went through with it, he'd treat it like a real marriage, he wouldn't marry again in the waking world, he would ease off of his dalliances with Peter and Jack because that's cheating on Edward now, and do his best to be faithful and present for his husband. It would, in truth, be a loveless duty of a marriage, but I don't think Samuel would regret this choice; the fact that he feels unsuited for a "normal" marriage would convince him that he's the right person to keep Edward company.

I have a new very strange thought... Can Ed sing in the shower?))) I have seen theories that while we are starting a riot/fire, Edward is just sleeping and then runs out in his pajamas, but in my version, he was just washing himself in the middle of the night, and then the only thing he managed to wear was a robe. Oh, poor thing, he didn’t even have time to dry off! He was probably cold...

Was Edward like the others at the orphanage, an orderly? I suggest that he was brought there as a baby, and probably doesn't remember his parents. And the jar of hearts... it was probably given to him for one of his birthdays. He just wakes up one day and there's a jar of hearts on the table or under the door, and a letter next to it.

Did he work to become the manager? Or did they make concessions to him?

He is the kind of person you can talk about forever and the guesses will never end. And he's also a pervert! (all because of the milk) Did he feel anything like excitement when the wedding was going on? Especially during the kiss? I think so and very strong.

I see a picture of these two threatening each other in a dance, they are dancing a waltz or another dance. And for some reason it REALLY seems to me that if there was music with words in the background, Edward would definitely sing along. And even if his throat was cut, he would still finish the dance.

So Light Fingers huh?

consider femdward. no i didnt want to grab a dress reference this was a 5min warmup thing. just imagine the most elegant yet austere dress possible

while the face reveal aspect would be nowhere near a surprise if he was a female character i think her threatening aura, mysterious strength & absolutely atrocious personality could def make up for it. fun things to think about
