This is a challenge for all artists and fans of Villainous.

As we all saw that Penumbra and Dementia have instagram, here comes the challenge of drawing your character with a villain character taking a picture (Be it Black Hat, Flug, Dementia or 505 even Penumbra or cuaquir secondary character of the same series) and put it in intragram or in another social network

Let me tell y'all the scene that sold me on how good this show is going to be

The Dreadful Dawn was the first Villainous content I saw and I loved every second of it. But this scene in particular was what sold me

Like idk how to explain this but I'll try

Obviously the most prominent stand out is the fluidity of the animation cause oh mY GOD ITS GOOD! First time I saw it, my jaw dropped because of the wonderful animation! The tear of his suit as he morphs into Flug's view, the wrinkles in his face as his eyes and mouth appear, his eyebrows popping out from in between his eyes, the way his reflective mouth stays in sync with his real mouth and how his reflective eye follows his real eye as it rolls into view and looks down at Flug and the fact that he still keeps his pose is just *chef's kisss* beautiful. I'm not in animation (I can barely draw), but even a beginner like me can really appreciate this scene.

This is also the first we see of Black Hat (if you never watched the orientation vids like me) and the fact he's presenting himself as something disgusting/scary is really telling.

THIS ONE PART SHOWS A LOT IN WHAT KIND OF BEING/THING BLACK HAT IS

He could have easily turned around and talked to Flug and he didn't have to fold him into origami in order to get him to his office, but he did anyway.

This dude doesnt give two shits about anybody and wants to invoke fear into anyone seeing him. Even with his already hired employees

This scene tells the audience that this man really means business and should be taken seriously. He is a real threat that shouldn't be taken lightly. Not a lot of villains casually flex like this unless they are the real deal. Bill Cypher from Gravity Falls is what immediately came to mind when I saw this scene because it is totally something that he would do (i mean he rearranged someone's face like??? Thats serious shit)

But back to Black Hat. Like damn this is such a power move. If I were in the same room as this thing I would've peed myself, like that's the energy he's giving off by doing this! His monster mouth is still in the reflection as if his reflection is another being or something!!! LIKE WTF THATS SO COOL

Anyway, so yeah I just needed to get that out of my system cause I just got a random burst of energy to gush about it right now

Black Hat is disgusted by the human body apparently

Might be part of why he doesn’t shapeshift himself more human than he already looks

But I guess his humanoid-but-obviously-not-human body was chosen more for convenience than anything else. He can still navigate our human world without having to fully be like us. 

I noticed that Black Hat is more tolerant towards Demencia

What if all of the characters were only putting on personas for the videos?

The official comics give us a glimpse of how they are off-camera

I wish they made more of them, they were fun
