every single time israel fires on people picking up food or humanitarian aid it truly cuts me to the core. obviously it's equally horrible to fire on civilians escaping the invasion or to bomb hospitals or refugee camps or people just living in their own homes. but there's something so brutal about hitting people right when they have gathered for life-saving aid. by firing on them there the IOF have set up an impossible dilemma where starving people have to choose between death by bullet or death by hunger. they have left no room for palestinians to choose life. i do not know how my government or any other government can just sit by and watch while innocent people continue to be gunned down for the crime of existing in israel's eyeline.

Lowkey pisses me off when people, who literally know nothing about the beatles try and shame others for liking John.

This is not me trying to defend johns actions for what he actually did. Because by God he did a lot and he shouldn't be excused for it. His treatment of Julian and Cynthia wasn't good!! And again, I am not defending it at all.

However it's just dumb to try and shame people for liking the guy?? A lot of the stuff people DO say about him is just false information. There is literally no proof to what they are saying??

We should also put it into mind that John again, was clearly not mentally right and mental health back then was not taken as seriously as it is today. Which just proves my point. That I imagine if John had GOTTEN the help he deserved and he handled his addictions better...I imagine most of the stuff that happened between Julian and cyn wouldn't have happened at all. I'll say it again, this isn't "excusing" his actions, this is more or less giving a REASON for those actions.

My point still stands that, people are allowed to like John. People are allowed to find comfort in his music, and him as a person. Because I believe that, in my eyes, he has done more good than he has bad. And as again that no human being will ever be perfect. Everyone is always somewhat problematic. As someone who CONSTANTLY struggles with mh, I relate to john in many ways and the man has brought me more comfort that I think anything else has in my whole life.

Once again, just my opinion and you totally don't have to agree on it ♡♡♡
