Remus: *sitting down next to James* Ok. This is important. I want ideas, plans, concepts, anything and everything.
Remus: How do I propose to Sirius?
James: ...
*Pulls out a complete folder with drawings, propositions, swatches, plans, ideas, etc. -*
Remus: ... why do you have that?
James: Oh, no. Don't worry, this isn't just mine. We have all been planning this since fifth year.
Remus: ... *takes a look* ...
Remus: Why is the first thing on this list to take him to a dog park?
James: oh, that was Marlene's idea.
pretty world by Alessi Rose is so Harry and Sirius just hear me out
I wish I knew you back when I was small - Harry wishing he knew Sirius when he was younger instead of being at the Dursleys
Cause you make me feel like I’m ten feet tall - Sirius inviting him to stay and showing him that he has family left that care about him
When I’m kicking myself, making it worse - Harry thinking he’s bad because of his connection to Voldemort
You’re here to tell me there’s more i deserve - Sirius telling him he’s a good person who bad things have happened to
I want to be loved - Harry spending his childhood alone and wanting someone to be there for him
I wanna be enough - everyone calling harry a liar when he was trying to save them
I think I’m in love with your pretty world - Harry being in love with being able to learn about his parents from Sirius
Alternatively!! It also works with Sirius and James
I wish I knew you back when I was small - Sirius meeting James for the first time and realising how much his family hid from him
Cause you make me feel like I’m ten feet tall - James being the first to trust Sirius despite his last name and truly see him for him
When I’m kicking myself, making it worse - Sirius being scared to leave it all behind and hating himself for it
You’re here to tell me there’s more I deserve - James taking Sirius in after he ran away and showing him what true family feels like
I want to be loved - Sirius immediately latching on to James and his family because he’s never known love like this
I wanna be enough - Sirius constantly trying to make up for the potters taking him in but the potters just want him to be safe
I think I’m in love with your pretty world - Sirius being in love with James family, the way he grew up and all their kindness
Guys I got a really really terrible Dr. Stone prompt.
So Senku is adopted right? And the reason for his adoption is because something terrible happened to his parents leading Byakuya to adopt him. And Senku's biological dad also happens to be Byakuya's best friend.
Senku took the Ishigami surname without caring who his birth parents are because all that matters is that he has Byakuya. He knows he can rely on him because that's the man that took him in after his parents deaths no questions asked.
Byakuya raised him, sheltered him, and cared for him like he's his own. Because he is and there's nothing that will change that, he'll continue to support his boy even if he constantly teases him.
Then the petrification happened, and Senku lost Byakuya. The man who raised and cared for him to be the person who he is now, his dad, gone and had died several thousands of years ago and he wasn't able to say goodbye.
He accepted it, but that doesn't mean it got easy especially without human interaction for 2-or-so years. But as time went on, he'll learn how to heal from grief with the support of the people who cares for him, the people who he also cared back.
After saving the world from petrification, Taiju and Yuzuriha got married. And Senku was happy for them. Everyone was overjoyed when they found out Yuzuriha's pregnant, Taiju wouldn't stop crying.
Senku knew that both Taiju and Yuzuriha would've been great parents. But life has never been fair.
There he was, standing near the cliffside as he watches the ashes of his best friends' flow with the wind across the ocean. Taiju and Yuzuriha's baby looked at him with bright eyes full of innocent wonder, Senku's stomach churned to how much the baby resemble its dad, and how its eyes look just like its mom's.
But right now that doesn't matter. What matters is that their baby is in safe hands in his arms, he promise to look after his best friends' kid until the day he dies and after.
Just like how Byakuya did for him
Sometimes Tumblr is a lot like trying to explain a toddler that you can't eat bugs and spiders because that's bad for you, and then someone shows up to lecture you about how spiders are a completely different class from insects, also you got "centipede" and "millipede" mixed up, so obviously you don't know anything about what you're talking about.
And if you try to answer like "do you want me to just let this kid just eat bugs or what", they'll get offended because correcting you about being wrong has nothing to do with implying that anyone would be eating bugs off the ground, obviously nobody is stupid enough to be doing that in the first place, that's a straw man and insulting to every group of people ever.
And then you look up at the other side of the yard and the toddler is there right back at it, slurping up centipedes like spagetti.
i gotta find a good alternative to making im gonna kill myself jokes. unfortunately im finding very little that packs as much emotional punch that also doesnt sound super annoying
This cutie pie
I love talking to kids about disability bc
1. they often just Get It, and
2. they have 0 concept of disability as a tragedy or something pitiable.
I've watched kids get into an argument with a teacher bc they thought wheelchairs were cool. I told a kid that I can't stand for too long sometimes and they replied, "That's okay, I can't do cartwheels sometimes, but I just do other stuff then. You can sit down with me if you want". Today a girl asked me what the headphones on a classmate's desk were for and I told her that headphones are important for some kids because noises bother them, and she said she wished she had headphones at home, because her baby brothers make a lot of noise and it makes it hard to think. The idea that different people could use tools at different times is intuitive and simple and when accessibility aids are explained neutrally, kids don't see them as bad or unfortunate, they're just things that are useful.
Even mental disability!! In Kindergarten the other day one of the kids asked me why his table partner got stickers when nobody else did. I started off by saying, "Well, when you do your work well, it feels good, right? That's your brain giving you a reward," and the kid just right away went, "Oh, and the stickers are like his reward?" YES! You are 5 and have a better grasp on ADHD than most adults! Kids blow me away every day.
ayo brou whys everyone gettin your name wrong 😭
