i will never understand how some people are just. not into fandom content. what do you do with your time? what plays out in your head when you have nothing to do? you’re really telling me you watch a movie or show or read a book and just go yep that’s all i need of that story and those characters? you’re not hungry for more ??
like. some people watched newsies and weren't desperate for more javid? didn't want to know more about spot conlon and the brooklyn newsies? weren't in need of more of race albert and finch being little shits?
wild.
i can't stop smiling i can't stop vibrating i can't stop-
this is a good thing XD. at least until i 💥
Every time I hear someone say Enjolras is hot I can only think about that time in PJO The Titan's Curse, when Thalia says "Apollo is hot" and Percy is like "he is the sun god" cause he didn't get it
musicals that contain rebellion against oppressive authorities are becoming more relevant day by day
glad to see kids r still getting into newsies these days. let me know when yall get ur autism diagnosis 🩷
RTD pulled a fan service version of Chibnil on the writing of this finale
Like what in the fucking fuck was that???
I love Billie Piper but she becoming the doctor is quite unnecessary. We didn't even get 3 seasons with Ncuti, and then they just pulled out a nostalgia move??? Why? Ncuti was great as the Doctor, and we didn't even get a good finale to say goodbye?? Not even to mention how my girl Belinda was treated really
It's just like.. too much to process, and I love Doctor Who, I really do, and I try not to criticize when there are a bunch of other people doing it because I know I won't say something that wasn't already said, but fuck that was disappointing
rewatched les mis 25th anniversary concert again
I hate how often some (typically abled) people will go “well, if you can’t [get a specific support], then what?” when it comes to disabilities. As if it’s a “gotcha” moment. And then act like you’re exaggerating when you answer that question honestly.
Disabled people often die from a lack of support. A lot of disability aids are not a luxury, but a basic need in order to live.
“Well what happens if—” people die. People hurt themselves. People hurt others. Disabled people don’t magically become abled if our needs aren’t met.
If a bedbound quadriplegic is caught in a housefire, and there’s nobody there to save them, they’ll probably die. They won’t magically become able-bodied out of sheer will.
If a nonspeaking/nonverbal autistic is denied access to alternative methods of communication, they’ll suffer in silence. They won’t spontaneously become capable of speech.
Disabled people are disabled all the time. Our disabilities don’t go away just because they’re inconvenient, or if we’re in danger.
