The reason I like Destiel smut so much is because Dean is such a dominant character. With Sam he’s the one who makes the rules, drives the car, picks the music, decides how long their chick flick moments are allowed to last, etc. Then when Cas shows up Dean is immediately aggressive with him, tries to tell him who’s boss, but Cas just stands his ground quietly and assertively, as if to say no Dean, I make the rules, and you have no power over me.
