The person that he saved, the one he's been taking care in those 2 months, possibly telling him the things that they could do, or the things they'd want to experience but then reality check, he's being hunted down by his brother and him and yoichi was running for their lives to get away, holding hands, having the slightest bit of hope they'll make it out alive. But then for a short second he's gone. He died while holding him, and maybe he thought he couldn't save him that time.
