HC: Piper’s eyes

Alright something short and sweet. You know how Piper’s eyes seem to shift colors like a kaleidoscope (according to Jason?) Her eyes can change colors subconsciously. Of course, her eyes generally look dark, but seems to have little flecks of color in them. Depending on who’s looking at them. Some would see blue, others would see green or gold. One guy may even find purple and pink. Preferences. Now funnier additions: Annabeth takes notice. Curious on what color are they exactly, she sends out a poll to the other campers to note what color they are. She gets a varied range of colors. Some campers see brown, others see gray. Etc. She also notices that whenever Piper charmspeaks, her eye color doesn’t always change, but they seem to glow whenever she does so. This lets Annabeth know when Piper is using charmspeak. This also makes moments where Piper is comforting or telling the truth one on one to Annabeth more impactful. Since learning she has charmspeak, Piper avoids using charmspeak as much as possible because she wants to be genuine with others. And ANNABETH TAKES NOTICE!!! Then she makes a more delighting discovery. Aboard the Argo2, Leo put a karaoke machine (for the lols) and he decided to turn on Carmal Daison. Lo and behold, Piper’s eyes colors are shifting hues like rave lights. Piper still has no clue why Annabeth and Leo were squealing that day.

It’s about annabeth being a host of Tartarus, piper being a host of ouranos, and hazel being a host of gaia

Hazel and Gaia theme is about perservence and evolving. Gaia encourage Hazel to become ruthless and assertive, but also help her understand the ecosystem.

Annabeth and Tartarus is about hope and despair. Tartarus teaches annabeth that monsters are the same as demigods and encourage her to help guide monsters. plus goth girl annabeth rights. I think Tartarus can intellectually challenge annabeth and made her realize that she’s limited but encourage her drive to ‘paradise’

Piper and Ouranos is about self- love and redemption. Both are guilty for being obsessed with Gaia and Jason respectively. Both learn to self love and realize they are more than a partner. Plus piper with cosmic and sky powers could be fun to see. Both do look down on others but are actually very insecure. Aphordite came from ouranos remains, which means he is technically piper’s granddad.

Ooh these are fun. Its the parallels between the gods and men. The flaws and traits that drive each other. And also learning to grow from each other.

Fun fact, one of my friends is playing undertale for the first time. Last I checked, they haven’t finished it but I’m looking forward to hearing their reactions!

There is a moment in the novel where Nero walked through the office premises of the headquarters and discovered people in cages who “did not pass the test for being chosen” and became half demons. Getting out of there, Nero said: “I was just lucky not to end up in a cage like that.” Well, no luck.

Funny Headcanon: At some point before the Mark of Athena quest line , Percy pisses off some god/goddess/thing who turns him into a spider. Everyone is trying to find a cure for it while Annabeth is trying her best not to yeet Percy out of the boat. I’d imagine she jumps onto Jason’s head and stays there for as long as she can. Jason just accepts his fate as the (current) tallest member. Annabeth gets some impromptu exposure therapy with Percy the spider. I’d imagine she has to at one point carry Percy across ‘insert gap here’ which is going to be horrifying for both party members.

That being said, despite everything, Annabeth would still love Percy if he was a spider.
