I keep seeing posts about Bruce and Batman being connected to Gotham in an almost arcane Eldrich way and I am here for it!!!

I like this idea that Bruce doesn’t even notice, not really. Like he’s human but sometimes he just syncs with his city so well that he just embodies Gotham.

Gotham is alive in a way that no other city is, not thinking or speaking, but feeling and moving. Bending around itself with narrow alleyways and barely lit streets. It almost breathes.

He drifts off into the streetlights and gargoyles and fades away becoming part of the city, like any other fixture.

And he doesn’t really notice, because this is just his every day.

Me: I gotta stop adding stuff to my drawing backlog I’m overwhelmed.

Also me: Ha what if I drew this thing? *adds another drawing tab to my poor overworked tablet*

Baldur's Gate fanartists will draw Astarion like a renaissance painting and Wyll like the cover of an adventure novel and Gale like a Leyendecker drawing and Karlach like the cover of a trashy romance novel (where she is the beefy hunk and her love interest is the swooning maiden) and Lae'zel like a knight in a manuscript and Shadowheart and Minthara like the cover of a lesbian pulp novel and Halsin coming out of a lake like the bear equivalent of the Birth of Venus and they're all so right

All of these have been from the first comic of the series by the way. This all happened in one comic!!! And the entire first arc is so interesting to me.

Ok so second issue

So I didn’t finish talking about issue 4. So the main antagonist mind controls several hero’s and fused SuperBatMan have to hold them off and fight Nezha.

The ring runs out of power and then suddenly

KARA COMES IN WITH THE SNEAK ATTACK

She is pissed off!!

And then she reveals the only true way to stop Nezha.
