So Bai He was hit with the purple beam, which is from the purple stone, which is from the white tiger, which elements is metal. I don't think that any person hit by that gem will have a power associated with its element, but the concept of her being able to bend minerals and gemstones and making friendship bracelets for everyone was too cute to ignore.

She can technically bend any hard mineral, but gemstones are easiers, lately she's been trying metals in small sizes.

The idea of the "book" being a huge werehouse of scrolls was taken from the adaptation of the animated movie "The Monkey King" (2023) .

I like this idea instead of having just "one" giant ass scroll first for convenience (MK would have to unroll miles of paper to find his name within the ones of every being that ever lived and died)

AND also because in the movie, scrolls are placed based on their family names, so I liked the idea of MK scroll being close to Wukong's (who's now protected from him ever touching it again)

as a payback for MK killing him with his Iron Fist cosplay I guess
