To everyone who feels like they don't have someone special for Valentine's Day, remember that you always have to have room for yourself. @azulcrescent knows that for sure, and she's an awesome comic creator.
It's February 14 here šš
I prefer saying, "Hi," or "You're very pretty" (regardless of gender) or "I like your (insert whatever you noticed here)." Basically, I figure that I might survive if I try to befriend the monster. So far, my friends include La Llorona, the Bride of Frankenstein, a doll-eyed clown lady who wants to turn me into a lampshade, a ghost lady in a haunted lake who was outfitted by Satan himself, and a vampire bat who convinced me to eat the spider on my necklace. I make neat friends. ššš
I like haunted houses in theory BUT I have no idea how to react when the actors speak to you. They ask me a question and I just⦠answer itā¦
The scariest part of a haunted house is the unscripted social interaction.
Just something that's always tricky to remember as an Autistic person. Especially one who tends to find I like stuff that most other people don't. Remember: randos on the Internet are not necessary for your happiness. Only you have control over that.
crazy thang is whenever someone makes a post talkng about how xyz thing annoys them someone will always go 'oh so we're not even allowed to do [thing] anymore??' like no you literally can. that person just will not like you. if that is enough to stop you then its not that youre not allowed its that you are not capable of existing outside of the approval of others
Here's a hug. We all need it

I normally don't post stuff like this on my page, but my family really needs help. My Dad put up this page on Go Fund Me to help with bills and everything with our family, since our grandfather is not long for this world. If anyone could help donate or spread this around, that would be super helpful. Thank you so much for reading this page.

My first ever digital art piece. A couple years ago, I tried drawing a practical base art piece before doing digital line work and art. I had just gotten into Fire Emblem and wanted to practice drawing one of my favorite characters: Tharja
ABA is a policy that I definitely do not support. I have beaten myself up some days because I donāt feelĀ ānormal.ā It still takes talking with my friends and family to realize that I am not supposed to beĀ ānormal.ā Iām just supposed to be me. I am lucky to know several people who are willing to help me grow and develop my independence and skills rather than try to make me fit the mold.
Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is a therapy that helps kids with autism learn skills and lessen problematic behavior like hurting themselves. There are several different forms of ABA. All are based on the idea that reinforcing certain behaviors will lead kids to repeat those behaviors. Studies have shown that ABA is effective, but some parents and autistic self-advocates do not support its use.
One criticism of ABA is that the earliest version of it used punishments as well as rewards. Punishments are no longer used in ABA, but critics think it is still too hard on kids because it is so repetitive. Supporters argue that modern ABA is often much less repetitive and that practitioners are trained to make learning fun and interesting for the child.
Another criticism is that ABA is too focused on eliminating behaviors instead of building skills. Some practitioners agree that this can be a problem. They emphasize that therapy needs to focus on what kids should be doing, rather than what they shouldnāt be doing.
Finally, some autistic self-advocates say that ABA tries to make kids with autism fit neurotypical standards. They argue that autistic kids have different needs, so they shouldnāt be taught to look and act like neurotypical kids. Some of these advocates says that speech and language therapy is a more helpful way for autistic kids to build skills and independence.

My favorite Heartslabyul moment is from Ghost Wedding. During Riddle's Vignette, he triumphantly fights against the ghosts. I love this moment because Riddle shows how awesome he is as well ends on an awesome line, "Because I am the King of Heartslabyul!"

Empathy is the key to accepting neurodivergence. We get nowhere by being afraid of people or choosing not to listen to them. Support comes from positions of kindness, empathy, and understanding.

This is my first attempt at one of these shipping memes. I have no idea if I did it properly or based it on much canon items. But, these are my headcanons for one of my all-time favorite Zelda ships.
Today, I learned something cool. Both the website and the phone number on the new Super Mario Bros. Plumbing ad are real promotional stuff for the film. I even texted them and got the business card. This kind of marketing is pretty cool to me as it feels like you have entered the world of the story. The fact that they include references to the Super Mario Bros Super Show too doesn't hurt either (including the cartoon's Princess Toadstool voice actress).
