power couple
Ok this might be the autism talking but I need to dump this thought: this shit doesn’t make sense. Taylor Swift is many things, but stupid is not one of them. Like, Tennis is a gentleman’s sport and they behaved like frat kids at that game. Tree would quit if this was how she was genuinely acting!
Yes, it’s gross and inappropriate. And no, whatever end does not justify these disgusting means. BUT if someone who isn’t stupid was wilfully trying to set their public image on fire… that MIGHT be how they’d do it.
That’s all.
3/14, the only date stamp visible in this video, which was posted exactly 13 days after 3/14. 🙃
Hey remember how she mashed this song up with Never Grown Up on her July 10th 2024 Eras show, the day before someone else’s birthday?
apparently ts interacted with two g/kaylors several times in GA Madrid N1 who held up a daisy sign yesterday..?
there are more pics of tay looking at them at the Source
How? HOW did Taylor get away with doing a damn strip tease to the sex song she wrote about Karlie... TO KARLIE'S FACE? In front of thousands of fans? She even moved her closer to the stage for this particular song!
nick knight and andrew tomlinson recently spoke about the set design and shooting of karlie kloss’s newgen//ten campaign, praising her for her incredible work ethic and naming her as one of the most amazing models
TTPD is such a great song in that I do agree it’s from Karlie’s perspective and it’s all about her bringing Taylor back down to earth. Taylor, as a creative person, feels her emotions strongly, doesn’t forget anything, and seems to fall into fantasy to escape her reality—a defense mechanism many of us who have had difficult childhoods recognize as life saving in many ways
Taylor is now an adult though, and this song seems to give us the perspective that Karlie has to lovingly be like GIRL get it together—“you’re not Dylan Thomas I’m not Patty Smith, this ain’t The Chelsea Hotel we’re modern idiots” is such a gorgeous line that I believe speaks to Karlie trying to get Taylor to stop romanticizing the past / her own trauma and to just work through it
As an artist myself, I absolutely was worried at one point that working through my own traumas would make me less creative, less able to make expressive art—this song made me realize maybe Taylor has some of those fears as well *hence* we are still here in the Land of Bearding in 2024 and Karlie’s like Bitch Please I’m here and I’ll always be here to help
Of course, I remember it all too well
Sus...
