After You Gave Your Master The Standard 3 Wishes, You Told Him To Leave The Lamp In A Place Like A Women’s

After you gave your master the standard 3 wishes, you told him to leave the lamp in a place like a women’s shelter or a homeless camp. Instead he sold your lamp to the highest bidder and now you are determined to twist the 3 wishes to the detriment of both your current and former master.

Losing my mind over the gospel of Luke being like “they wrapped his body in linen cloth and laid him in a tomb” after the beginning of the story being “they wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger” like

I’m absolutely feral

“Jesus cooks and does the laundry. This, by far, is the most striking feature of the resurrection stories in John’s gospel. The first thing he does after he’s resurrected is to fold the laundry. And the last thing he does on earth is to cook a meal for a friends.”

— David R. Henson

I find supreme comfort in knowing that no matter what I fuck up, answering "well, what are you gonna do about it?" is always an option. Most people are not capable, willing, or emotionally prepared to commit enough physical violence to physically force me to stop doing whatever the fuck I'm doing, and now we both know it.

Knightly lifestyle ideas. Part 2

A simple line text divider with a picture of an eight point star in the middle

• Perform your daily duties with immaculate discipline, be it personal hygiene or work obligations

• Research historical attire of nobility in your country and incorporate it's elements in your wardrobe

• Bandaging your bloody knuckles after a fight

• Treat your beloved like royalty; shower him in gestures of affection both grand and small

• Partake in ballroom dancing such as waltz, tango or foxtrot

• Thy mind is thy weapon. Keep it sharp by reading difficult books, learning foreign languages and taking online courses

• Pursue raw strength over aesthetics when working out

• Know your roots — learn about the history of your family and where you come from

• Give alms to the poor and the homeless whenever you're able

• Your car is your noble steed, — do not chase after the latest model, but treat the one you have with utmost care

• Master social etiquette, true knight knows the art of conversation is no less important than the art of combat

• Kissing his hand as a way of saying hello

• Be a defender & protector of your community: oppose the bigoted and educate the ignorant

• Sturdy military boots that will last you many years

• Commission a family portrait from your local artist as a way to honour your lineage

• Wearing your beloved's keepsake when he is far away

• Know the basics of survival in the wilderness, — how to read a map, how to start a fire, which plants are toxic etc.

• Go on a pilgrimage to historical sights of your hometown and feel one with the generations that had lived before you

• Master your ego. It is unbefitting of a knight to lose his temper over the smallest things

• Learn and practice first aid skills regularly, it might save someone's life

• Stay involved in your local government's policies. Exercise your rights as a citizen when needed

• Have the courage to ask for help when the challenges you face seem insurmountable

• True modern-day nobility lies in always striving to be better — better father, better husband, better friend, and most of all, a better man

We compare Loki to fire because watching a flame, you witness how truly free it is. Fire is unpredictable, it’s constantly in motion. You never know what it’ll do, where it’s going to go, or where it’s going to stop. You can never know if it’ll grow tall enough to make a building collapse, or if it’ll die down by itself when you press the trigger of a lighter. And still, fire is dancing: it’s bouncy and bright, it feels so alive and joyous. Fire is an enemy, a pest and a troublemaker, but it’s also a friend, especially when you’re freezing to your bones in the cold.
