Titan: Ligeia Mare and environs
Numerous lakes of hydrocarbons and seas are visible: at the top is the prominent body of liquid known as Ligeia Mare; the main centers are in the northernmost part of Kraken Mare and on the island of Mayda Insula; and in the bottom center is a portion of Punga Mare. In the lower right corner, Jingpo Lacus reveals a series of sinuous canals in its lake bed, while Bolsena Lacus appears in the lower left corner.

TODAY IN HISTORY – On June 18, 1983, the Space Shuttle Challenger carried astronaut Sally Ride into Earth orbit, launching her into history as the first American woman in space. It was seventh space shuttle mission, lasting 6 days, 2 hours, 23 minutes, 59 seconds. When the shuttle returned, Dr. Ride said, “I’m sure it was the most fun that I’ll ever have in my life.”

It’s a hobby of mine to listen to and watch archives from the Apollo era.
There’s many places where you can just browse transcripts and video archives, but I’d recommend https://apolloinrealtime.org/11/ and https://apollo17.org.
Watching some of the videos from that time is eerie, because these people are so distant and isolated on this dark surface, illuminated by an inclined sun.
Charlie: “That ain’t very fun, is it?”
John: “That ain’t very smart.”
It’s Apollo 16′s 48th anniversary so here’s a gifset of Charlie Duke tripping, falling, dropping things and generally being clumsy on the surface of the Moon
Lots of cool moments with the crew in this video. They seem very easy-going and friendly. The fact that they're doing EVA and docking tests could imply that this crew might get to fly on future Artemis missions!
Especially liked the EVA training in the neutral buoyancy lab. The underwater audio is so relaxing. It must be very comfy for those scuba divers down there.
hooked noses, flat noses, big noses, and nose bumps are cute society just has bland taste and a preference for white features
Probably one of the coolest photographs ever taken. Can't wait for Artemis 2 to best it.
if u look up there it is
