Where did you learn Sicilian? My family is from Sicily and my mom really wants to visit but doesn’t know the language but I only ever come across how to learn Italian and not Sicilian. Also damn girl knowing 4 languages is so impressive especially since they are all rather similar

Soo my dad is half Sicilian and was born there so basically Sicilian and Italian are his first languages besides French. So I know Sicilian, Italian and French as my native languages. Anyway if you wanna go to Sicily you can speak Italian here and everyone will understand you (except maybe for some elders who love in some distant village lol) but if you wanna learn Sicilian then I wanna say that it’s different from standard Italian. Anyway most people say that Sicilian is not an easy language especially when you know Italian cuz you’ll mess them up. I wish u good luck with learning Sicilian🫶🏻
