3. Mercury Placements

Mercury Rules communication and people with dominant Mercury, which rules by the mind happen to be very gifted with music. Remember, I’ve mentioned before that music is a science. Why? Because it can be measured. Emotion is felt in the belly but the chemicals that trigger what we feel start in the brain first. The brain is ruled by Mercury most immediately since Mercury rules the “lower mind”. Look for:

Do you remember about where to put the 에 at the end of the very last word we used? So keep that in mind! All these words i'm going to share, are inside the "TIME (에)" particle. So you have to add them before the hours/minutes.

I'm going to share it from big to small, it would make sense later, i promise! Please, have in mind that, if the words doesn't have (에) at the end, you don't have to add it if it's the last one.

I'm going to teach you how to write a sentences properly with this: TIME(에) + HOURS(에) + MINUTES(에) + SECONDS(에) + 이에요/예요.

Time is the big thing, as you can see, we have to add all those words in that space, but, how? As i said, always from big to small.

ALWAYS + YEAR (에) + SEASON (에) + MONTH (에) + DAY (에) + MOMENT OF THE DAY (에) + HOURS (에) + MINUTES (에) + SECONDS (에) + VERB.

Imagine i want to say:

I always go to sleep at 22:00pm on mondays.

저는 항상 월요일 밤 열시에 자요.

I had "monday" "night" and "hour", but the particle 에 goes at the end of the sentences. So it will be the same if you add more info in that sentence; just follow the new way and it will be easy!

Air is the element of flexibility, instability, intellect, and detachment. It moves quickly, is good for workings involving change, movement, and speed. Air energy is also good for communication and contact with spiritual beings, and is linked to communication, mental activity, ideas, and social interactions. 

Earth: 

Direction: North. Colors: Brown, Green, Gray. Zodiac: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn. Tarot: Pentacles/Diamonds. Magickal tools: The pentagram, salt, and stones. Earth is the element of stability. It is also good for spells involving transformation. It can also be used in banishing, divination, and purification. 

Water: 

Direction: West. Colors: Aqua, Blue, Indigo, Purple. Zodiac: Scorpio, Cancer, Pisces. Tarot: Cups/Hearts. Magickal tools: Chalice, Cauldron. Water is the element of movement, cleansing, and healing. It is associated with nourishing, cleansing and clearing, purification, intuition and emotion, creativity, lunar energy, growth, and abundance. Water energy is changable and unpredictable, but slightly less volatile than fire. Water energy is good to call on for change or to stimulate movement, or for cleansing, healing, and purification magic. 

Spirit/Ether: 

Isn’t technically an element, but is often treated as one. Is represented on the uppermost point of a pentagram. Spirit links the 4 elements, is associated with the divine.

To use a pentagram for summoning/invoking, draw the pentagram so that the first line goes towards the point of the element being invoked, or the element what you are invoking is associated with. To banish, the first line is drawn from that point away. 

Uses of a Pentagram: 

Creating a comfortable place for a visiting spirit, opening a window to the energy of a certain element or the being/thing invoked.

• bharani women make rly good leaders as they seem grounded but also people tend to look up to them. Venus energy is elite ✨️

• tiger yonis (chitra/vishaka) are fierceee badass bitches they can come off as Intimidating but ppl can't help but notice them 🐆

• vishaka women start out as "good girls" from a young age but the more society or people try to control them they bottle it up and then lash out or spiral out of control at one point becoming destructive, these women grow more into themselves later as they find it important to be authentic and true to who they are , thats how they shine🌻

Sabbat Birthday Superstitions

I thought it might be fun for Imbolc to gather some superstitions for anyone with a birthday on one of the Sabbats. I included dates for both Northern and Southern Hemisphere. These are all from a book called All One Wicca: A Study in the Universal Eclectic Tradition of Wicca by Kaatryn MacMorgan. I’m not necessarily saying that any of this is true or good, I’m just posting it for anyone who is interested. 

Yule (20-22 December or 20-22 June)

A child born on Yule is said to have the power of the Sun God, and the mother is said to be blessed too, of especial sacredness are infants with black hair, who are said to have the powers of the storms, and very pale children born on Yule are said to come from the womb of the Goddess and be great workers of Magick. Some say the gift child is often a changeling, and will die by spring, but bring great prosperity to the family, not my idea of a Blessing.

Imbolc (1-2 February or 1-2 August)

Children born on Imbolc are said to be the “first children of Spring” and will always be one step ahead of everyone else.

Ostara (19-21 March or 19-21 September)

Children born or conceived on Ostara are said to be healthy, strong, imaginative and “green thumbed.”

Beltane (30 April -1 May or 30 October - 1 November)

Children, especially girls, born on Beltane are the “children of the Goddess,” and children conceived on Beltane are said to have “luck and fortune beyond the world." 

Litha (20 - 22 June or 20 - 22 December)

Children born on the Summer Solstice are supposed to be fiery, smart, strong, temperamental and willful, red haired children born on the Solstice are said to be marked by the Sun King, and will receive special blessings.

Lughnasadh/Lammas (1 - 2 August or 1 - 2 February)

Children born on Lughnasa, like children born on Mabon, are said to be like the crop that is brought in.

Mabon (19 - 21 September or 19 - 21 March)

Children born at Mabon are generally compared to the harvest. If it was good, the child is said the "Grow tall and prosper like the grain,” but a poor season usually boded badly for an infant, not because of his/her date of birth but because of the food supply, and the child was said to be lucky to survive past Yule.

Samhain (30 October - 1 November or 30 April - 1 May)

Children born on Samhain are said to be great in power but attracted to “necromancy, graveyards and other ghoulish things,” and children conceived on Samhain were said to be the incarnations of unsettled dead, so sex on Samhain is fairly taboo.
